I have Stable Diffusion installed locally, but I've never been very good at generating images with it, it's mostly for games that can take advantage of it.

Oh yeah, I have models and LORAs, something like Free Cities can generate decent results with it. I just don't have the patience to tinker with prompts to get the same quality of results

Same. I use Adetailer and pass the image through img2img several times to finally get a good result.

I don't use them, for a very simple reason - I don't need them. There's an idiom in my native language that says you need it like a straw in your ass. This will be more accurate.

to generate images, Gemini’s Nana Banana to refine them, and I make some adjustments by hand. It’s not ideal, making something more pornographic is difficult because of Nana Banana, but it’s not impossible.

The two I've used much are galenaREDUX and I think hassakuXL, but it's been awhile since I've messed with it.

NovelAI is phenomenal for anime style images. It's unlimited if you pay monthly for it and has a ton of tools to enhance your work. It even has a character reference mode that'll generate images based off of any character you upload.
