Finally, the weekend~
CoolIf I'm happy enough with it to sell then I will sell it :3 but that's years away and it's primarily a passion project <3 And I'd defi love to share it here! (is not a nsfw game tho <3)
It's gonna have pantyshots at least?(is not a nsfw game tho <3)
Well we all started somewhere, and I had too much free time in my youth, since I did not spend it socializing much, or getting along with others, had like 1 or 2 friends I spent time with, family life was difficult at the time, and all the other time was used for programming, reverse engineering, studying some sys internals and such. That I got into the scripting scene as dev was pure coincidence, but was in the end where I had the most fun till now. But in the end we all learn by doing, as programmer its almost mendatory to atleast fail once or twice at a project, completely rethinking the structure, learning from it and taking the lessons to the next problem, and when high level languages are enough for the problem and you do not need low level code, I don't really see a reason to spend the time with learning all the internal stuff, you should roughly know how the Von Neumann architecture works, but you usually don't even need to differentiate stack from heap or a vector from an array. This is more important for actual low level, or really performance concerning applications, so wasted knowledge if you don't work with such applicationsOooo you're no doubt way better at programming than me by the sounds of this :3 That sounds super cool as well! <3
I think being good at programming is super cool! Am pretty proficient myself (at least I'd like to hope :3) I agree with what you are saying about like computing theory and stuff but I find it all super interesting so I end up reading alot about computing outside of programming as well <3Well we all started somewhere, and I had too much free time in my youth, since I did not spend it socializing much, or getting along with others, had like 1 or 2 friends I spent time with, family life was difficult at the time, and all the other time was used for programming, reverse engineering, studying some sys internals and such. But maybe will go for a walk this evening with a good doobie, not a bad idea.
That's great to hear, too many people only focus on the small picture and call themselves computer scientist, for a standard programmer many things are not needed, but I think that drive is what brings people really to do this as a passion. Was the same for me. And if you want to go into the CS part you actually need to know the low level knowledge imo. But I wish you the best of luck with your project, and I am open to help if you have general questionsI think being good at programming is super cool! I am sorryI would talk about my work like everyone else, but it's really the last thing I want to think about right now. I just want to relax and maybe call some people I haven't spoken to in a while (not booty calls, I feel I should clarify that here).
Thank you so much! I love your pfp as well :3That's great to hear, too many people only focus on the small picture and call themselves computer scientist, for a standard programmer many things are not needed, but I think that drive is what brings people really to do this as a passion. A booty call would be the best way to blow off steam on a friday :3I would talk about my work like everyone else, but it's really the last thing I want to think about right now. Its my cat in playing/hunting/killing mode, like 3-4 months after I got her. She is my little princess, also acts like one and is just as demanding for attention. Currently sitting beside me as wellThank you so much! I love your pfp as well :3
Cats make for excellent PFPs lol. Though I will admit most of what VSCDB said flies over my head lol.Thank you so much! I love your pfp as well :3

I'm jealous of you all who have actually learned a programming language. I'd really like to learn Python/RenPy, but every time I start, I get overwhelmed.I think being good at programming is super cool! Now I am waiting in anticipation of some great cat picsDamn, I can't, the files are too big... I'll upload them somewhere first.
Honestly, just keep on doing it, I would say programming is when learning something new, always a balance game of getting overwhelmed, learning, and mastering the hurdle. Also, do not try to do too much too fast, you will just burn yourself out.I'm jealous of you all who have actually learned a programming language. It's not as overwhelming as it looks! You just have to stick with it past the first couple hours and it all comes together, I swear <3 Python is a great first language to learn as well :3 If you do decide to try learn it pls feel free to DM me if you need any help with it :3 I consider myself a decent teacher for beginners <33I'm jealous of you all who have actually learned a programming language.
