It's a mixed bag for me. I like good-quality 2D and 3D, but I think the barrier for what counts as bad for 3D is a lot higher than for 2D, at least in my opinion. Bad 3D, especially for facial expressions, hit the uncanny valley super hard, so I honestly tend to prefer 2D in most cases, unless the 3D is of exceptional quality. For 2D, I tend to prefer western art style to eastern.
Yeah, I'm still getting used to it as well. It felt a little daunting, but since there's an interest system to give some passive income, it doesn't look like it will be as bad as I was afraid it would be.

Yep, that reddit would close down on it is obvious, for less the fate subreddit almost got closed down and had to censor a good chunk of the characters artworks. The posts should have gone to a less mainstream place. But this time i kinda find myself siding with them unlike in the fate case because if some normie stumbled there they probably wouldn't be able to discern. Wich is a shame because it makes me agree with reddit mods

3D often lack details in stuff like genitals and unless they go for a stylized model like koikatu etc (wich are further lacking in details) they often fall into uncanny valley, plus the clipping of bodyparts,hair and clothes, and the cherry on the cake, it's absurdly horrible when censored since you lose the little you had (but to be fair they tend to be easier to decensor since unlike 2D the mosaics aren't placed directly onto the models like they do to the pictures to they can be removed to varying degrees of success). As for peaks, 3D peaks in games often recquires huge expenses in hardware but they do have the advantage of being easier to animate

Agreed. On a more happier note, I''m also hyped for Pragmata. Haven't played the demo yet, but the girl is cute and the fact we can play as a robot is just awesome. (I blame Titanfall 2 for making me like playing as robots, lol)

i really hope they figure something outYeah, that's my main thing as well. I used ATF as my main source to keep track of games, both made by ATF devs, and outside games people shared. Found SO MANY gems that way, and playing many games in current development. I'm really hoping the various devs find their way here to add their games so I don't lose track of them all.
Many do have their own websites as well, but I'll never keep track of like 15 separate developer site, and having a bookmark list of loli games feels like a poor choice
