Good thing I upgraded my ten year old machine a year ago. That would have been very painful now ...

Good thing my 2,5 year old main system will carry me for at least for years, if no hardware failures occure. But I'm optimistic.

I bought new notebook for my father this autumn(thanks god), and when it all just started, i yoinked 5060Ti for myself. my old 1070ti now can rest.

I only upgraded because pytorch dropped support for my GPU lmao.

PCs are not that expensive though. Compared with a hobby that costs $50/month, you could buy a nice PC every two years.

I live in the US (tough it's debatable whether it can still be considered developed.) I'm poor as fuck though.
