I've been doing LARP for 5 years, really fun, and i do mostly Monster or NPC, i've tried player but NPC are way more fun. When you go from player camp to player, asking for someone smart and after arriving in front of the leader of a big clan, you ask if he could help me learn number from 1 to 10...

Funniest shit ever

Player interactions can be so funny but also annoying if they try to squeeze a non in time reaction.
My favourite character was being a Redcap. Brutal, bloodthirsty and not to fine for a brawl, earning the red for the cap.

I call that a downgrade

If there's one thing I've learned from Windows 10 and 11 it is : Just because the build number is higher, doesn't necessarily mean its an UPDATE/UPGRADE.
Same with Android apps to be honest.

I have tried to keep to calling it a patch or change instead.

There's a patch for something you use, it may or may not UPDATE/UPGRADE the experience so rather than automatically assigning it a "positive" word (and thus associations in the mind, etc...) such as Update/Upgrade I prefer a more neutral and accurate one such as Patch or Change. This also helps when you communicate the change with others, so as to not give them expectations that are unwarranted.

tl;dr words matter, we should use them more

wow, its been a month already.. and today I got my 24TB HD.. so I can finally offload the... "arvhives" from my old computer.
Copying with an external bay since I'm lazy... i'm looking at a transfer rate of 20M/s .... so this is going to take for-ever™

Edit: Just had a look.... 18.000 files so far copied and its still on the first folder, and it turns out I dont even need/want those files.... But its too late to turn back now. (6 years of Diablo 3 with TurboHUD (RIP)... turns out it loved to LOG a lot)

Now to find out if the RED SMART warning SSD will break before I can copy everything off it

It's true. These sites have costs. The only way to get money is from the users directly. User will only give money if there's content and stuff to do.

i also don't think the type of person to be on this type of content would click on ads. i would assume most people here would have an adblocker and surely some internet safety

One would hope that most users know not to click on ads on niche sites in general.

There is this one nice elevated place. It may be dark and cold, but worth the walk if you like being for yourself.

It IS at an EXTRMELY low limit period and rises at a geologically slow rate per post. The absolute minimum limit to start should have been around a million and gone up much faster. IIRC it was the banned member Kernist who mostly demanded the getting rid of the good way it was before.

.. up the hill, into the darkness. Sitting on this bench. The lights of the city can't drown here the sight of ursa minor and ursa major. Distant humming of a transformation station and cars passing by.
The local lake is still frozen. The new built high rise appartments nearly blocking the view of the sorrounding mountain range. Just leavin enough of a gap to see the watchtower and radio mast on the peaks.
