For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Bad weird, if you can believe literally everyone that had to do with him for more than some weeks.
Why did I catch a stray bullet? I was just sleeping… 😌

Should I play 0 or Kiwami first? I knew the answer at one point but it's been too long <3

Personally I'd say 0 is the better starting point, though you'll miss a number of little in-jokes and references from later games. It's just the better built game. The story flows better, there's proper balance, fighting feels less clunky, etc.

Kiwami (Yakuza 1 remake) isn't bad but there's definitely some "first game" jank still present at its core. Though admittedly its story is ridiculous enough to be entertaining even through all that. Kiwami 2 is similar in that way.

Ooo okay, am personally the type of player who likes to start from the beginning of a series and work my way through it (ignore my comment about only playing Persona 5 earlier x-x but I did play through the first SMT before it at least :3) and I already just installed Kiwami so I'll give that one a go first ^^

If the jank in Kiwami is in the gameplay I think I'll be able to soldier through it (most of my fave games are extremely janky so hopefully shouldn't be a problem :3) but if I find it not to be great I'll consider switching to 0 and coming back to Kiwami after <3

Good morning (where I am) I have returned after what seems like a very long time. I had a break from LC due to personal reasons but I feel it is good time to return as this isn't such bad place and people I knew were pretty cool and nice. Looks like some probably left and plenty of newer people, so, I will probably mostly lurk round the art but always around when someone like a chat.

My ambition is to lure you into my web so I can harvest yur blood. Nothing unusual

Latest Updates page search is fixed. The search field no longer adds a pill, it now does true live search as you type (instant results based on your input).

That works! If you ever need some help, "CyricZ" has some great guides on gamefaqs.

Biggest advice: Don't be afraid to ignore the story to wander off and do the fun little side quests. The plot often tries to imply things are super urgent, but you can fuck off for weeks playing slot car races and trading card game fights and no one will care. And if you DON'T do a bit of this, you're missing most of what makes the series great.

Thanks for all the help/advice! <3

The only real thing I know about Yakuza is clips about the karaoke and cabaret sections of the games so I'll defi explore all the side stuff :3

Nice to meet you too! I've only been active on these forums for a couple weeks so might have missed each other <3

a warning to everyone.

DO NOT BUY A WIRELESS MOUSE FROM THE DOLLAR STORE.

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well today. anyone played a really standout game from here recently? Looking for something to eat up an afternoon.

What genres do you like? I bought "The Seance of Blake Manor" a couple weeks ago and loved it, great little mystery game.

Promise Mascot Agency also ate up some hours for me, though god only knows what genre I'd call it. Fun and engaging, either way.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3 are both still controlling my life though. (fair warning though E33 is very french and more than a little depressing at times. But god damn is it good)
