Oh, I've never explore the Persona franchise, the closest thing I played was Catherine from the same Dev. Are they all combat-oriented?Am a bit of a recovering gacha game enjoyer but I have spent the last week addicted to the Persona 5 Phantom X gacha game :3
Feel free to ask @mime if you're unsure. He's super helpful.Hey so, i searched "splatoon" in the search bar. Saw nothing with "title only" and the last splatoon post on a forum was 2024 apparently here and early 2025 in a different forum.
So i am assuming there is no splatoon specific forum/thread right? I did the search correctly?
If i did things right, i can just make a forum/thread for splatoon specifically? Anything important i need to know?
Would splatoon count as "problematic" since technically there could be or interpreted as lol or sho. Do i need to do something specific?
Remember i don't use forums really so soory if this is a dumb question.
Persona 5 (the main game, not the gacha game) is a JRPG, it's pretty easy but has super satisfying gameplay, some relationship building mechanics with each of the characters and is primarily a VN with how much writing there is :3 Wouldn't recommend the gacha game unless you are a Persona fan tho <3 (do super recommend Persona 5 if you arent opposed to JRPGs)Oh, I've never explore the Persona franchise, the closest thing I played was Catherine from the same Dev. I'm more of a puzzle guy, but if the combat's not too hard I'm game. Also isn't there more games from the series? In P5 they load the combat with so many ways to overpower the enemy that most fights are almost just a puzzle to combine the right weaknesses and finish the fight on the first turn :3I'm more of a puzzle guy, but if the combat's not too hard I'm game. Sounds really hardcore for a turnbase actually, I think I had similar experience when I played Altelier Sophie. I might give it a go but if the combat is too hard to the point I need to watch a youtube guide then I don't think that's for me lol.In P5 they load the combat with so many ways to overpower the enemy that most fights are almost just a puzzle to combine the right weaknesses and finish the fight on the first turn :3
There are but I haven't played any yet (am just about to start Persona 3 when I'm finished with my current game, and the Persona 4 remake is hopefully coming out soon <3) Persona is also a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei so theres a bunch of those games as well (but each game is separate universe, each is playable on their own :3
What gacha games are you playing as well <3
That's fair, I didn't find it too complicated but I've played a bunch of JRPGs so I'm probs a bad judge of that :3Sounds really hardcore for a turnbase actually, I think I had similar experience when I played Altelier Sophie. For gacha games I'm playing Stella Sora (2 minutes daily thanks god) and Umamusume,
Can someone with their own words please describe what's Umamusume is about? It's horse girls racing, but..?Sounds really hardcore for a turnbase actually, I think I had similar experience when I played Altelier Sophie. I also need to play the Yakuza games! I've had Yakuza 0 and Kiwami downloaded for years and haven't gotten around to them <3The persona games have a hilariously broken difficulty setting so if you ever get stuck, you can just change to easy (or hardcore....) and walk through a fight to continue.
I say hardcore as the way the difficulty works, the hardest difficulty setting can actually sometimes be far easier as it lets you just one shot everything (with the trade off you get one-shot by damn near everything too).
Can absolutely recommend P5 though. P4 and P3 are a little more rough around the edges gameplay wise but still have great stories worth giving a shot.
Can also recommend most of the Yakuza/Like A Dragon games if you want over the top anime nonsense (though with a non-anime art style)
Definitely Haru Urara, also you should watch Cinderella Gray if you like the anime. That's fair, I didn't find it too complicated but I've played a bunch of JRPGs so I'm probs a bad judge of that :3
I haven't heard of Stella Sora but I love Umamusume! I only played the gacha game for the first few weeks but I love the anime and the umas (Rice Shower is the cutest <3) Which is your fave uma :3
So let me say something about real horse racing in JP first:Can someone with their own words please describe what's Umamusume is about? It's horse girls racing, but..?
I really need to! and I love Haru Urara! she's my second fave and she's so cute with Rice Shower :3Definitely Haru Urara, also you should watch Cinderella Gray if you like the anime.

It's kinda like a cross between horse girl racing and idols, the appeal for me being that you see all the girls working hard and interacting with each other and they each have their own stories and are super cute :3Can someone with their own words please describe what's Umamusume is about? She is adorable, I'm sorry I'm not there to pull for her ;-;You must be registered to see attachments
They've just release her newyear version for global. Our daughter is gorgeous.
So it's a management game? Didn't expect that.Definitely Haru Urara, also you should watch Cinderella Gray if you like the anime.
So let me say something about real horse racing in JP first:
Generally you have a horse and they start to race at the age of 2. They mainly compete in around 3 years after that point and that's their main "career" time then they retire.
So in the game you have 3 years (1 month is 2 turns so you have 72 turns) for a career to train your horse up in stats and skills points to buy skills. After that you have a final horse to go and race with other horses from other trainers.
This sounds so funny/silly, but I would name a horse after that, definitely.Rice Shower :3
Oh! They are all great, sometimes ridiculous but great, and Pirate Yakusa is like cherry on top!I also need to play the Yakuza games! I've had Yakuza 0 and Kiwami downloaded for years and haven't gotten around to them <3
Should I play 0 or Kiwami first? I knew the answer at one point but it's been too long <3Oh! They are all great, sometimes ridiculous but great, and Pirate Yakusa is like cherry on top!

The banner is still there, actually. I think you have like 50hrs or so. But no rush, If you decide to comeback to the game later, you can always pay $20 for a selector ticket at 0.5/full anniversary pack. It's kinda like a cross between horse girl racing and idols, the appeal for me being that you see all the girls working hard and interacting with each other and they each have their own stories and are super cute :3

Yeahhhhhh, except in all 72 turns for a career (which is about 25 minutes of playtime), every one of them is RNG, so with the same setup, you get WILDLY DIFFERENT results. That's the appeal of the game.So it's a management game? Didn't expect that.
This sounds so funny/silly, but I would name a horse after that, definitely.
well, 0 is a prequel, as far as I remember. I'd recommend start as it was released, So 1-5 first, than 0.Should I play 0 or Kiwami first? I knew the answer at one point but it's been too long <3
