This modern games need so much hard drive space. Kingdome Come Deliverance takes about 120GB just for the download. This will be a long night clicking "I'm not a robot".
I heard good things about that one. It's on my list of games to try once I get though my very big backlog.

What is up, people

For real man, just brought a new ssd for that exact reason
256gb is not enough to have more then one game at a time

My backlog just gets bigger and bigger and I cherrypick out low hanging fruits. My coworkers hate this simple trick.

Reminds me on early XBox times, where you could install 1-2 games games on the 80GB hard drive. Then came better times. Now the bad times (in terms of game size / storage size) are back.

GTA6 will for sure be released with over 200GB. Combined with an operating system even a 256GB SSD could be not enough. That sounds so crazy.

That is crazy! On the one hand, awesome realistic graphics are cool but not so cool If I can only fit one or two games on my rig at a time. I Might have to stop being so cheap and spring for some decent storage.

I'll be paying out tons of coins in 5 or so hours, so there's still time to get involved in the shared daily theme threads!

Ask others if you're not sure where the threads are or what you need to do. People on here know!

My backlog just keeps growing. And instead of picking up something from it, I just started replaying Uncharted again

Anything that would be anywhere close to 50 GB would be an "absolutely not."

I really thinking big size game are fine. If that size can justify whit lots content and qualitym but majory game companys not optimice anything and something likec COR take over 150gb whitout any real good reason

Guess I'm gonna have to be posting more, just saw how the new Bank works so I got bump those numbers up

I just downloaded the new version of Yakuza 0 off steam. The original was about 24gb. The new one is 85gb. Apparently, more than 50gb of that is just bloated cutscene duplication. There's even a mod on nexus that lets you replace most of them with 0 byte files to recover the hard drive space.

Modern games are beyond bloated since devs arent restricted by jow much space there is on a disk anymore.

Yup, I think this is the biggest thing. Why bother optimizing, compressing, and removing unused files if you don't have to? Ark had a filesize of like 400GB if you had all the maps installed.

Game was one of the main contenders for the Game of the Year award. And If The Expedition 33 wasn't there, who knows...
But I personally prefer fantasy or Sci-fi settings, so KcD2 not on my list.
