i'm not a blackjack player but is blackjack not 21, an ACE & a 10 or JACK, QUEEN, KING (two cards)
and not 17, 10 ace & a 6 ??

Ace is 10 or1, whichever is better for you. If you already had ace and 6 or 10 and 6, and drew the other the ace would be 1 - otherwise it would be 27 and bust.

I should show the results after I play blackjack sometime. My stats look weird.
