Reads a bit like the Discord trap.
There are new terms. Either I accept them or I can't use Discord anymore.
So I choose to delete my Discord account.
To delete my Discord account I need to login.

back then computers were so slow and people didnt really have all their info stored on their pcs and devices like we do now, so a virus was just an inconvenience not really a threat of anything

Maintaining a normal bulletin board is already hard enough with enough users. But mainting a bulletin board with plugins, intention of profit, paired with gatekeeping and spiciness, all while staying out of trouble, accessed from a clearnet trough cloudfare? That's a can of worms from a whole another level. I respect this kind of madness.
