Happy New Year all! Currently still in the "I'm never drinking another drop of alcohol as long as I live" phase of things how is everyone else doing?

Also, curious what do these slots changes mean overall? So the odds of the big jackpot have been about halved and the cherry is increased, but is it still a net positive (though a relatively small one/slow grind)? How it was before, making smaller bets I was able to make coins doing it but I'm not trying to gamble away all my coins if the new changes mean it's a lot harder/impossible to win?

New Odds Breakdown:

- Clover Win (100x): Was ~1 in 2,777 spins. Now ~1 in 5,555 spins.
- Seven Win (250x): Was ~1 in 8,333 spins. Now ~1 in 16,666 spins.
- Jackpot (Diamond): Was ~1 in 41,666 spins. Now ~1 in 83,333 spins.
Technical Details:

- Reduced Reel 3 clover weight from 30 to 15.
- Reduced Reel 3 seven weight from 10 to 5.
- Reduced Reel 3 diamond weight from 2 to 1.
- Increased Reel 3 cherry weight to compensate, slightly increasing the frequency of small "money back" wins to keep players engaged without bankrupting the house.
This should prevent players from "grinding" small bets to easily hit a massive 100x+ payout like the one described

I get that it's random on any given spin. But, idk, something feels drastically different now...just played 10k worth of coins betting 100 or 500, so like 40 spins or so. Barely won at all, seems like 1 diamond and all different wins were completely removed, and I only hit the 3 cherries twice I believe. It's a tiny sample size sure, but it still feels pretty different somehow. Am I imagining it?

The stats page says the RTP is now 83%? That seems quite low. Either I got really lucky before or it was actually a positive RTP in the past? Comparing to real life slot machines, 83% RTP is quite low. Would be cool to see it go back to slightly player favored since this is not real money to begin with, but at least make it similar to irl good slots or video poker like 95%+ RTP would be cool I think.

I started test playing the new updated slots with 4,500 coins.
I currently have 4,500 coins after the below 444 spins.

what I won (see below)
3xcherries 75 coins x 39 wins (2,925 coins)
3xlemons 500 coins x 8 wins (4,000 coins)
3xstars 1,250 coins x 2 wins (2,500 coins)
3xmystery prize x 3 wins (875+500+300) = (1,675 coins)
total won = 11,100

I then spent every one of the 11,100 coins that I won (intentionally)

than won 0 coins in total in the end from the (444 spins at 25 coins each)

game update effectively 100% killed the game & its all its entertainment value.
the only way to win anything is to have massive amounts of coins & just wear out the numbers or do not play at all.

the jackpot even went down from 300,000+ coins to 31,000+ coins.
this is not balancing, this is just as good as removing the game.

i don't make art so i wont be posting that & posting 300 posts a day on a holiday is OK but not on any other day.
we make zero coins from liking posts but I do it because if no one did than no one would make coins unless they spam posted.
