i actually like Letos joker, the gangster joker was a good idea. but i am in the minority there lol

Science Fiction?

2001: A Space Odyssey
it's a great movie and the craft put into making it is insane. the movie was made before computer generated effects were a thing in movies and, I'm pretty sure, everything was done in camera. I know the floating pen and then crazy space sequence near the end are both in camera. the floating pen is a fun one to see if anyone can guess how it's done if you're watching with friends.

Moon
This one's more recent and it's one that I would really recommend staying away from spoilers completely for. Sam Rockwell is the main character and if you like him as an actor then you'll probably like the movie.

If you want something a bit more actiony and less serious then go for a cult classic that's based on a Stephen King book

I see people are talking about the new Tron which I haven't seen but Tron: Legacy is a bad movie that I love to pieces because of the audio and visual aesthetics. If that movie was just written well it would've been an absolute masterpiece.

All solid. Pass on the new Tron if it is going to cost any money. The new running man is not awful but it is not very good either.
