Personally as long as there is some teasing with the female characters in states of undress then I am fine with long intervals. Or if the story is extremely good.

some times I get really into the game and then I won't complain about no sex scenes but some games bore me out if it's too much shit chatting

I can usually play as long as it takes for a scene if the game itself is good. The rare time I say "f this, I'm out" is usually in some kind of RPG if the game really doesn't hint at anything sex soon

It's inversely proportional to how enjoyable the game is as a game and/or story without sex scenes. If I'm having a blast just reading/playing through, I probably don't mind if it's three chapters til the first sex scene. On the other hand if it's trite writing and uninteresting gameplay just barely made up for by gorgeous character models, make with the sex quick cause there's no reason to play otherwise.

For me it really depends.

I've played games where it's been hours between scenes and I'm enjoying the story or game so much i've not really noticed the length.

Then theres some games where its either so grindy, boring or the story is lacking anything interesting, that anything more than 10min for me to see some decent renders then i'll just drop it and move on.

17 seconds.

Though mostly I want to have control of when they happen. That's kind of why I don't like overly linear things. The porn happens and I'm following the story and it's just kind of wasted in that moment.

Depends on how invested in the game I am as well as how the gameplay in between scenes feels, if it feels extremely tedious I normally drop it within the hour.

When you came for the lewd but stayed for the gameplay. I forgot the SRPG game (Japanese) but I believe it took 8 hrs for first, but never care for it.

The gameplay was neat.

Hey, if you remember the name of that game, would appreciate if you could let me know. Need more games with good gameplay. Not played one for a while so always on the lookout for them.

i need to dig through old HDD to find it. Can't really remember it.

It a Japanese SRPG game so you may not like it though. If I remember there was 3 main girls.

too many games go way too long between scenes imo

There's defintely a weird curve that happens with some games and the downtime between scenes where the early game is sprinkled with light scenes few and far between and then the late game ends up flush with scenes as you progress with the various LIs. I've always preferred a balance where I'm still chasing and progressing with one LI, while getting to the good scenes with a different one so that there isn't too much downtime but it isn't overwhelmingly full of lewd scenes one after another.

Depends. Some games get away with it if they can maintain the teasing aspect enough. It's a tough balance. There's some games where the lewdity is TOO fast and frequent and others where you're spending hours in a clicker game to the point you start to wonder why you're still doing it. If the story and characters are engaging, and the teasing done well, i can handle long breaks between scenes, but when it starts to feel like youre wasting my time i'ma drop it and im not coming back.

Believe it or not some of the best AVN's I played were R rated with minimal nudity.

It all depends on the plot and the writing talent of the developer. It's rare, but there are VNs that can captivate you so much that you lose track of time. In one of my favorite VN, sex happened for the first time after 3.5 or 4 hours of playing time. And it wasn't noticeable. But alas, the vast majority of developers are not doing well with literary skills.

The forshadowing for me its the key, im not telling that the dev must have some skills, but if the build up its good i can sit with blue balls for hours.

for me more than 4 hours, after all even if the story is good or decent i still came for seggs content not large sfw story, if i wanted that i'll play games on ps5/steam

I think it depends on alot of factors like i prefer there to be almost no scenes in the intro but when the game is in the thick of it anything over 30mins is pushing it

If the story is good, then im okay with long times. If its not, then probably like an hour of content at max with no sexual content or anything adjacent
