At least it seems to have been getting more attention from people outside of the "ew porn games crowd".
However by time something that riles those people up gets taken down, like a large game, furry content or lgbt content its going to be too late.

Let's be honest it isn't the groups, it is the people who own the shares just look at their shareholders and board haha

Some people, especially on places like twitter make it their lifestyle to actively look for things that offend them and then rally others to get it removed.
I've seen dozens of artists, especially Japanese ones having to just leave the community because of whatever innane reasons they decide to come up with.

I know, and I've seen this moral outrage so many times about so many things. D&D, Heavy Metal, MTV, Rap music, violent video games, sexual video games, anything with "Satanic" imagery, Goths.

There's always something they want to complain about and rally against. The problem is, most of the supporters for such things just want to be left the hell alone so they can enjoy themselves.

To the point where trying to do/look at anything that even remotely strays from vanilla will require jumping through multiple hoops.

It's alright if they complain about lewd games on Steam. I don't like the low effort hentai image puzzle Games that are released a dozen a day. My form of protest is that I don't buy them.

Some of the worse US sates (Flori-DUH and Tex-ASS) did the same for like Pornhub. Pornhub's response was to completely block access from those states - as setting it up would cost them more than they make from there.
