At least it seems to have been getting more attention from people outside of the "ew porn games crowd".

Let's be honest it isn't the groups, it is the people who own the shares just look at their shareholders and board haha

Some people, especially on places like twitter make it their lifestyle to actively look for things that offend them and then rally others to get it removed.
I've seen dozens of artists, especially Japanese ones having to just leave the community because of whatever innane reasons they decide to come up with.

I know, and I've seen this moral outrage so many times about so many things. D&D, Heavy Metal, MTV, Rap music, violent video games, sexual video games, anything with "Satanic" imagery, Goths.

There's always something they want to complain about and rally against. The problem is, most of the supporters for such things just want to be left the hell alone so they can enjoy themselves.

Seems like we're living in a bad timeline. In a good one the reaction by almost everyone to someone being offended (unless it's actual hate shit) would be "so the fuck what? Don't download it then."

Countries like the UK and Australia (again) are also rolling out ID verification for platforms like Reddit and Discord so it can only get worse from here as more stuff is taken down and other countries follow suit. To the point where trying to do/look at anything that even remotely strays from vanilla will require jumping through multiple hoops.
