discussion do people actually buy all these prestige ranks?

Don't get me wrong I get that the site needs money in order to run. but am I the only one who thinks these prices are completely over the top. feel free to explain if you know why the prices are like they are. to me it feels a bit like the site has turned into a money grab more than a community, love the site really do, but the constant forced post asking for money aren't really annoying to me but they do make me think that people don't fall for the prestige prices and no one actually buys them. obviously not my business but I can't help but ask the question are the site really down that bad? I'm curious about others opinion's. I personally would donate if it felt like I would actually get something out of it but it doesn't feel like that when as an example p5 cost 550$ there must really be something special locked behind that prestige

Considering that all the ranks can be got for free, I don't see what the problem is? I picked up all the ranks for free, everyone can get all the ranks for free if they really want to.

I bought a P4 at one time (not for real money, for LC). I was extremely disappointed. I didn't find anything I was interested in there. And while I could buy a P5, I'm in no hurry to do so. Most likely I will find the same lack of any interesting (for me personally) material there.

Considering that all the ranks can be got for free, I don't see what the problem is? I picked up all the ranks for free, everyone can get all the ranks for free if they really want to.

well the original problem was that it felt like we were being pushed towards buying them because the prices are too high in AC/LC the time it takes to earn these coins are quite incredible. but like you see at the start of the conversation someone told me about the bank system which changed my mind a bit

Well I picked up the original ranks P1, P2, P3, and P4 in just over a month last year. The bank system does work, I put 40k of coins in there about a year ago and currently have 71m in there and the loose change in my AC wallet. I picked up both P5 and P6 when they were released using the spare change in my wallet.

i would like to chime in. i thought exactly the same as original poster. I got my rank up by doing the messages when that got added. I never heard about the bank before though. knowing that this is a thing will make this a 100 times better. i dont mind logging in for points. but the amount needed seemed to be out of reach by a ton for just posting messages. glad i entered this board to read a bit and learned about the bank, maybe now someday i will actually reach it.

but back more on topic of the thread, when i first showed up here, i really wanted to support this site and everything its been doing for the adult gaming community. and i finally have the money to do so, so i did. not for everyone obviously. and if you have the time then just hanging out here on this forum will net you all the ranks in a month or two if your set to it. otherwise none of these perks or roles are really "required".
