As far as limericks go, I was college age when I first saw the actual "Man from Nantucket" limericks. Always hear it hinted at in TV shows, etc but it was always just "There once was a man from Nantucket" before someone stopped them. I guessed at the time (3rd or 4th grade) it was along the lines of "There once was a man from Nantucket who saw a pussy and wanted to fuck it." Well, I got the ending 2 words right...

They got a hefty DMCA strike and had to remove over 2100 titles with together over 660K chapters.
This is a list of all known titles that got purged, there are many more: ->

So say goodbye to the biggest Free Manga Reading site. They had takedowns in the past, but now basically everything is gone.

Good chance they become the next FAKKU/Crunchyroll (for those who don't know, FAKKU was a huge scanlation and translation site for free hentai mangas, but they made the transition into only publishing officially-licensed hentai manga for money of course. Crunchyroll was one of the biggest pirate streaming site for animes, which got bought and is now selling their service legaly too, for money of course.)

This might not be news for you, but it is for me.

Yup. It's super lame. I did see the mangadex team say that they don't want to sellout like Crunchyroll did though.

Around the same time the mangadex stuff happened, my favorite webnovel site lightnovelworld got shut down. Luckily I was able to find a replacement for that, but I haven't found a replacement for mangadex yet. Hopefully one will appear soon.
