There was one of those Japanese cartoons on in the early 80s here, but this time they got it right. It was called Star Blazers. I remember it was on every weekday at some time after school. It took lalmost a year for the whole season to show and there were 2 seasons. A friend of mine used to come over and we'd watch it - followed by the 1960s Batman tv show.
