Touche. Either way, I think AAA games are usually associated with heavy amounts of public advertisements, and I just don't see a future where that is remotely possible in this day and age

AAA game studios wouldn't touch them due to publicity, but porn studios can pay coders/programmers...

i think porn games are more niche than we might think (bc we are obviously the demographic). for a AAA studio to make a porn game they would risk both a hit to their reputation, but also pouring resources into a project that might "go down the drain" economically. but yeah, a AAA game would be nice if some studio took the gamble. (price is prob gonna be ludacris tho)

Dohna Dohna is the closest thing to a AAA porn game i've had the pleasure of playing. That being said, it had to have been EXTREMELY expensive. And that is probably it: The west doesn't really have the paying audience for h games like japan does. DLSite is a big deal for the production of games big and small I think. Thankfully western indie titles can still be insanely good even if not truly AAA caliber.

For me is becasue some of them are poorly done or have high requirements. Like that one porn game that looked alike to STALKER or Fallout. That bastard required a 2060 or 3060 for run it in minimum. Developers needs to fix that, if I want to play a game with those requirements then I go and play Baldur's gate 3 or install a thousand of porn mods to Skyrim

I think that maybe they've tried but wasn't profitable enough.

I dont think a company could make back the investment from a porn game that has a AAA budget so they dont do it.

I genuinely don't think it will ever happen. No company wants to invest tons of resources into something like that.
