Finally decided to give it a try, but I have a question. How many pulls can a f2p get per month? Obviously excluding "late game lvl100500 team only" ways to get those pulls. Just a newbie that play casually.

I do.
I don't really know, I usually only pull, if it's am operator I'm interest.
Or one of the Limited ones. I feel the Gacha is very generous with it's 6 stars and 5 stars.
But you can do Annihilations for a total of 1800 Orundum each week. (Yes, some of these are possible with low star teams.)
If you do story and event stages you get the Originate Prime, for getting a 3 star on them.

I think it would depend on if you can (borrowing operators probably) beat the 2 "standard" annihilation stages, to increase the weekly limit you get from them from 1200 to 1800.
If you can do it (sometimes one op borrowed character can do almost all the work), it will give around 20-22 pulls monthly I think? If not, around 15-18
(that, if you do those stages weekly, and complete the daily and weekly quests)

I played Genshin pretty hard for about a month and then just burned out. Gameplay was fun but dealing with gatcha, much less so.

I played Genshin for like the months. I loved it, but I hate the farming system. Like, how many times do I have to kill the same thing to get the fucking green emerald?

Forgot about the daily and weekly quests, yes they are good to do too!

Also @Vizer007 use the Recruitment when available, sometimes you can get lucky, and get 5/6 stars from that.

If we are talking about the 6 stars, it depends:
For limited banners, you'll be able to exchange 300 of that banner currency (1 pull = 1 point) for the limited 6 star on the banner (or 200-300 for past 6* limited operators). But it's also true that on limited banners, there are usually some "free pulls" on the banner (around 20)
For ANY banner (including limited banners), the 6 stars chance start at around 2%, and it increases slowly (I think it was 50% at around 35 pulls, and almost guaranteed at around 67 pulls), and it resets after you get one.

Yeah, it was like playing an mmo without the multiplayer. Time gated stuff really drove me nuts. So many banners were just traps and many characters need full constellation to be any good. I get the point is to make money but omg.

True, I worked with a guy ages ago that told me stories about working with punch cards, sounds terrible to me. Good catch on the tape back-ups, that was part of my daily tasks for years, switching out tape backups.
