I remember the first time I went to a casino. I went with a buddy and she sat down at a slot machine while I walked around. I ended up sitting down at a machine and noticed I was winning a few bucks here and there so I went to her and told her the machine is hot right now. Well, she sat down and ended up winning $500.

What? I was going to change my AC for millions and zillions of Euros!!!

I feel scammed!

I have particular views on money, I won't spend it unless it's something I want to make my life better, otherwise, I'm a miser. I rarely eat out, unless it's super late and I don't feel like cooking, or I'm away from home. I rarely have coffee, if it's not at home, because anything buy outside of Gas Station stuff or McCafe Coffee seems overly expensive, a bunch of little things build up super fast. Having $1000 in your wallet isn't a lot, but owing somebody that $1k is painful or stressful. I'm willing to dress casually in cheap clothes from walmart, or even second hand stuff. Though, I have nice clothes I only wear on special occasions. I'll buy expensive electronics, or rent/buy digital movies, if physical are unavailable, since my hobbies outside of work feel like the only thing that keeps me sane. I'm super neurotic, I've been in debt several times, and once I paid off my Student Loans and such, the burden being gone changed my life.

Gambling is a slippery slope, but at least you know where your problems originate, so rather than giving advice, I'll just say take care.

I spend all the money I and my wife earn. I don't buy expensive things, I don't like expensive things, only good food and travelling, vacations, visiting countries, operas, theatres... Making memories.

All i can say on this is that what I did was wait until I had double the cost (230 K at that time - and no I did not get a rebate three days later when they dropped the price to 100 K) and then after purchase I just let things accumulate - It took three weeks to get back to where I was prior to buying -- Now that it is 100 K I would expect that to refill in about 2 weeks if you wait til you have 200 but regardless -- what else is there to spend it on other than giving it away ?

I stopped Vacationing for fun in my late 20's, my 30's until now have solely been travelling to scout out locations. I've seen a lot of beautiful places, including doing an entire tour of the areas they filmed The Lord of the Rings. My itinerary includes 47 Countries, I have a journal with all the places I visited, and listed all of the things I thoroughly enjoyed when travelling. So, even when I travel for work, I do stop and enjoy the finer things in life. Including eating foods I would otherwise not try, and looking up local parks, preservations, or monuments. Specifically, Bach Ma National Park and Ta Dung both stood out for me in Vietnam.

The community around a year ago was way bigger and active and this made things easier.

let alone distributing coins.

I agree coins should be distributed when errors or inconveniences occur. Not in large amounts tho

Now the order has changed. No one thinks about giving away the coins in their pockets. I think they will take them to their graves and die like pharaohs.

Why people should give you or anyone away coins?
To me you sound like someone begging people who have been carefully log in daily to collect their interest and grow their own "fortune".

I just never enjoyed it in my youth and as soon as I acquired autonomy in my life I got rid of it. With gifts there is an unwritten quid-pro-quo - you get one, you gift one on similar occasion. And I struggled with everything - social gatherings (anything more than 3 people including me is too much), looking for a return gift, another gathering to gift it.

Now its so much easier. No one expects a gift from me and no one has to gift me anything. With the exception of weddings, I guess. Not that I will attend most of these. Only 5 people in my life can for sure say I will be there.

You may think of it as a way of showing interest in the other person.
Many people appreciate the intentionality much more than the gift itself.

An advice, decades ago, from a really close friend, who used to listen to me whine all the time how I could never live up to my father's expectations and pitting myself for not being successful like my friends. After hours of talk and complain about how people were always looking down on me and saying that I didn't deserve the position had, she made me stop for a minute and said, "Then why are not doing anything to change that? Why are you expecting them to respect you if you don't respect yourself first?" That was the first time someone actually told me to try to be better.
I'll try to keep it simple to avoid sounding too arrogant.
After that I finished college, studied more and worked 13 hours daily to save my dad's company that was in debt because of my incompetence. Started my own company to save other people's business, with the entire focus in small business rather than profits. And started an MBA so I could've a more deep knowledge to support my own experience and provide a more practical help to small business. That friend gave me a gift that I could never buy for myself, she gave the gift of hope, and therefore, confidence. She saved my life, even if I’ve never had the chance to tell her just how much her words meant to me.

Now I understand where your great kindness and closeness comes from. Sharing something like this is not easy and I deeply appreciate it. More people like you and like the one who helped you move forward.

My family is crazy. My Parents separated when I was young. I have an eldest sister, which turned out to be my cousin that my Mom adopted after my Aunt passed away, this happened before I was born, she's 10 years older than me. She's also my closest family member.

Then 2 two brothers 9 and 7 years older me than. I won't go into details, but my parents separated and each had kids of their own, got back together and had me, then finally divorced and had 2 more kids each. I essentially had 2 full brothers, 2 half-brothers, a not-real sister, and 6 half-sisters. French-Canadian and Mexican, respectively. My Step-Mom was Korean, and my Step-Dad was Scottish.

My wife and I share basically everything together, and play the AVN's I have found on this site and others, together.

That kind of shame eats you alive from the inside. It isn't healthy, and I'd urge anyone to break it or break away from it.

Otherwise, in my experience - you're riding a train destined to crash and the longer you ride it, the more pain you cause everyone on board. Yourself included.

For me it's not a shame, i just live with it.
It's not like I can find irl a partner liking smols too that easily.

Like a dream job. Would they let me take my wife to work? I worked in documentaries and movies for a time (I was camera crew) but finally and sadly it didn't work.
