I thought it would help knowing the year, but even then, looking at some of the movies they always have something wrong (not having some of the details you mentioned)... And trying to get help from any AI doesn't really help (it always replies with the same 3 titles: The Flight of Dragons, The Black Cauldron, The Last Unicorn). But not gonna lie, it's fun to see all those movies that I've never heard about before, some look really interesting!

I've only seen the Last Unicorn once. A very young me watched it and was very upset by the ending. The others I know very well.

Flight of Dragons involves the main character being pulled away to magical world and put into the body of a dragon. It is very very loosely based on a book of the same name by Peter Dickinson. I don't recall if the evil wizard was across the sea. He was voiced by James Earl Jones which was awesome.

The Black Cauldron everyone is already in a magical world, the villain is the Horned King, an undead-lich-like thing. There is also a magic pig.

Oh, and Gurgi. Who is literally the best.

I'm trying to Slum. Day started with my keyboard and mouse not working. Replaced batteries and still didn't work. So have some old plugin stuff right now. Since the company doesn't have anything new. Then it's been chasing around for orders and other crap. Monday and the start of the end of the month cycle. So the fun is just starting

How many coins were you giving away, anyhow? Somehow in all the fun I didn't notice the amount.

Exactly my problem, haha. Just too vague to find out what I am remembering. But I can tell you it's absolutely not any of those three movies.

Thus my multi-year struggle, stuck with flashes of scenes from an animated movie I saw while laying on the floor of my sister's room with popcorn and rootbeer floats, but no clue what the hell it was.

I personally can't get through Black Cauldron. May be controversial to say, but I feel it could do well as a live action remake.

I must've missed the movie you guys are looking for, but I'm pretty knowledgeable about movies and such. I can probably assist.

The 70's and 80's Ralph Bakshi stuff is great, albeit a lot of racism or racist stereotypes. I actually like the rotoscoping he did. Also, the ending of Wizards is pretty awesome, and Elonore is a cutie, same with Teegra from F&E, and Holli Wood from Cool World. I did a few images of her in P4, been meaning to do more. Check out Fire & Ice if you've never seen it. I was also fond of very Don Bluth.

I just had a thought about ads. Afaik ads were disabled since they weren't really profitable if i remember correctly, right? But they would have provided still a tiny amount of support. Now im not saying ads should come back nor stay away, but i rather have an idea and wanna hear @Guz89 and perhaps other mods opinions on it:

An opt in program for optional ads where we, the users, can additionally support the site, even if by a tiny amount and in return, ppl that opted in, get a very very very slight boost to gathering activity coins.

Like for example: user X opts in for ads, and each interaction that gives activity coins, gives maybe 1-2 more coins or something like that, just to make collecting coins a tiny amount faster.

What do you think?

It would be great if we could make money by playing games. I don't know if there is such an application, but if there is a job where I can support the site on the computer, I can do it without hesitation. Maybe you know something that can make a profit even if it is 1-2-3 dollars.

Not really into some of the themes (Spoiler: I usually don't watch any movie, even animated, that contains depictions of animal corpses or animals getting killed/beaten), so I didn't watch it, but I watched a video about it a few years ago because I kept hearing about it

That's a shame, the book was a good read, but the movie changed a few things for the better and for the worse. Just think of it like a Murder Mystery Thriller, but instead of Humans, the character are mostly Cats. I understand not wanting to see that, though. Anyone that likes Whodunit's usually likes it.
