The main issue that makes it a pain for him is he prioritizes keeping saves compatible, even when he has to make some of the choices not matter anymore when a bug shows up that needs squashed by simply putting default choices in the code for the problem parts as a work-around (I really hope that wasn't done for the Leana pregnancy choice). Personally I wouldn't mind starting over if it was absolutely necessary rather than having him resort to such fixes, ctrl+ skip is not that hard or take that long to make new saves, unlike some longer AVNs that take nearly an hour of crtl-skipping (ie Love Season: Farmer's Dreams).

Meh most "bugs" in VNs are typos in terms of speakers or variables, or incrementing a variable without instantiating it. This stuff is easy to track/fix with WinMerge/GREP, and shouldn't happen in the first place if you have a good planning tool like Trello, etc to track your labels and variables. Even in cases where you want to add/remove a variable, it can be done pretty easily with defaults and the after_load label. Back in like 2017 I used to think that devs were getting stuck on complicated shit and "bugfixes" were similar to a corporate environment. But I've since gathered a bevy of free tools that I use to fix Ren'py and RPGM games in seconds. I don't cut devs any slack unless they're doing actual complicated coding (Straitened Times, for example, and that pretty much never has bugs; it's a bit too convoluted/grindy for its own good though) which most devs are not doing in the slightest.

The overwhelming majority of Ren'py games just use label jumps, screen hotspots, and variable increments; this one is no different. And a lot of time save breaking is just sloppy work on the dev's part, I can usually fix a save myself unless there was actually a major rework.

Season 2/harem is prob not for another 6 months. He still has to make the v11 Macy and Alice paths before even starting on S2.

If you played the 2nd half of the party at the end his dausis Alyssa pays him a visit and she's less forgiving for her dad abandoning her than his sister was and she shoots him, talk about daddy issues . It's kinda hard to miss since all paths lead to that. Only thing I missed is there's 2 animations but I only saw one, so guessing the other is Rebecca/Lisa content since they didn't show up (guessing because you have to treat Rebecca like shit earlier to get the option to even invite them which I didn't do). Oh well, I'll prob replay this from the start again when it's finished in a few years and I guess I'll have to be mean to her then.

Not a request to release immediately or anything, just want to understand how it works now and when can I reasonably expect to see some new update available here.

It's possible that the Macy and Alice path updates are postponed to Season 02, but we will see. After 0.11.7R ketzal will take a long needed break, but in the meantime he at least started working on some Renders for Season 02.

He still makes a public/free version on Discord, though you will need to be a trusted user to get it from there (most just sub to the shy tier when it's released for that and then unsub again after downloading, from what I hear TU for free/public is not all that easy to get for good reason). I think it''s like 3-5 days in between tiers before it drops to public/free, then someone just uploads it here after that.

You need to go the domination and slave route with her to visit her house. (Don't worry, you can turn it loving later.)

As for the MC's wife, I agree. The history there is heart-wrenching, and one of my criticisms is that there should be options for the MC to illustrate that they never intended for things to go the way they did with her, such as the body changes, the implants..

The harem route opens this door while at the same time feeling like it closes it because the girls get involved with one another and seem to push away from the MC as things develop between the smols.

..it's a tricky line to walk and I think Ketzal is doing an amazing job so far. I do hope, however, that we get some more resolution on that front. I don't want to be piloting an MC that really was just fucking heartless to a girl that devoted herself to him. Countless stupid fuckups along the way? Absolutely. Great. Fine. But.. so far the current story just feels cold with her and I hate it.

This right here is a big one for me, I feel like they should have a scene or go on a husband/ wife date and an option how sorry the MC is.
