I really wonder about old horror movies, did people really find them scary with their imagination filling in for how silly it often looked? or were they just considered a silly fun time?
If it was just their imagination, it sure was doing some heavy lifting.
I mean there has to be reviews made during the original film's releases that could give insight into how the movies were received, I just don't know where to find any reviews or sources

You might be able to find some of that on the IMDB website, and sometimes the Wiki pages for old movies will link to things like that if something about "reception" or "impact" are discussed in the article. I don't put a lot of faith in Wiki, but sometimes there can be a little good data.

I've been told that wikipedia is usually a good starting point even if you shouldn't use it directly. At least any well informed and trusted articles should have sources so it might be better to go read direct source instead but like I said I know very little about this

I think you underestimate what anyones imagination still has to 'lift' even with modern movies ... everyone knows they are watching a movie, yet they get scared.
It's called (willing) suspension of disbelief, by ignoring the fact that it is fiction your brain acts as if it was real. And for how bad it was looking back then: it was (often) the best possible, so it didn't seem as silly at the time. Some old movies that are good made hold up pretty nicely even today (think of Jaws), while others that weren't the top of the cream back then might look too ridicolous compared to todays standards ... and only that direct comparision makes them too unbeliveable.

Fight me yourself. Quit relying on others to do your dirty work!

Or maybe you're afraid of me because I'm a little nuts?

Yeah, I wouldn't wanna fight me either.

Not sure that was the best reply, little nuts Doc.

Anyway..

Also worth noting that movies were NEW. Special effects were NEW. Nobody had ever seen the concept of a big scary alien, or a crazy serial killer, or a murder robot put to film before. There was strict and heavy content policies on everything in movies for a long time. Combine that with the semi-Puritanical social norms of the 1950s, and people were liable to freak out. The radio reading of War of the Worlds is another example that shows people had never seen or imagined this stuff before.

Yo!

I went ahead and added the Ultimate Pack which contains everything but Moderators Packs for those who wants to just purchase that whole thing. More will be added soon so you should not have to worry about re-buying it and whatnot. The agreement on the coins is 2K (2000).

If any questions, feel free to ask.

ECHO ECHO OR DITTO GANGBANG??
Do they even have penises? Echo echo is silicon based life, and I think Ditto is an amphibian. They probably fertilize eggs externally or something. But if they did, Ditto is definitely the way to go. The clones share sensation so you're stacking stimulation.

If I did my math right and I'm not pulling a Dumb and Dumber move here, I'd say we got about 4 new Reaction Packs coming in. In other words, 40 new emojis. I'm just not working on it right away right now and trying to take my time. Think I accidentally overworked myself last time. Lol
