Does Prestige 1 give anything other than removing the cool down?

I does give some profile customization options. But as far as I am aware, all the profile customization stuff will get shifted into it. So you don't need P2 and P3 anymore, they'll get removed or replaced.
If you visit the shop you can already see P2 and P3 are missing.

I will update the OP as soon as more informations are out.

Sadly an avatar won't give much coins, the same amount as getting a like.

Depents what your goal is. Are you only here for the Members+ content (Games+, Animations+, Comics and Stills+), then Members+ is all you need.
If you want to spend time here on LC and interact with the Community and don't care or don't mind waiting for the Games+, then you should try to aim for Prestige 1. It contains everything Members+ has but with additional boons.

If you go into the Lurkers Thread (https://lewdcorner.com/threads/anti-social-lurker-hideout-spot.12155), you might get the rest of your coins pretty fast. But don't spam and don't act needy, nobody likes that.

Pretty much nothing will change for people who aim for Members+.
Even Prestige 1 won't change, as long as you don't donate to get it.
