Damn microsoft, bought laptop with office on it then notify me my free 30 days have expired time to pay up. I miss the days where you bought something and that was it. Seems pay to play caught on with computer software as well. Time for pen and paper again, 3 handwritten pages into prologue and 1st sex scene is starting...too soon? Nah, gotta have some spice to it.

I've never tried it but I hear all the time on various sites of people recommending to use 'Microsoft Activation Scripts' from github to Activate Windows and/or Microsoft Office so if you like Office and want to continue using it that is something you could look into, I used to use Microsoft Office 2007 Blue Enterprise Edition back in the day

I have a license for Windows 10/11 due to the free upgrade campaign they did forever ago so I never felt the need to use it

Had to replace my laptop, and "upgrade" to 11 when I did, a little more than a year ago. Tried to reinstall my old MS Office suite and it wouldn't allow it. Basically, they've gone full retard on the whole subscription model. I was using it as an independent consultant, so I get to expense it, but it's still bullshit. And 11 isn't any kind of upgrade - it just runs more bullshit in the background, eating up capacity, and adds steps to do things I use to be able to do with a single right click. Also seems less stable than the "8" I used for years and the "10" I had on a client's machine for a while. Software folks used to be pretty smart; now it seems to be bunch of trained monkeys doing their level best to NOT put an efficient, effective and reliable product on the market. It's the whole "engineered obsolescence" bullshit. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if updates weren't designed to degrade performance, whether phone or other device, starting as early as the 6 month mark.

I really gotta say that I wish they make these top of the page links more visible like they were.

whole site gui has changed so much I don't want to use it anymore. (the site, not the buttons)

70 pages (or more) per day x 30 days = minimum 2,100 impressions of ads not seen by me alone because it's now only 4 pages per day.

oh, look. i got alerts (I'll get them tomorrow, maybe)

those fucking buttons always end up right on top of the post button
