Mods are gone.. maint is done..

[MattShizzle]

I mean most of them are just winging it and started without even a end goal of how the story would go.
At least that is what I think happens to abandoned games. Especially when they let the donos decide the plot and theme...
Just a big red flag to not play it until it is complete or a entire season or arc is done.

Definitely don't bother with first releases.

[NightDive]

Well downloading a game for a few mins of renders are just so RAGE inducing.
Especially if it is a big game haha

Oh it very is. And is very predictable.

and yet...i still cant stop myself.

[Overshot4]

Definitely don't bother with first releases.

Problem is some of them have really good tags on them, or they have a very specific fetish in it. And then the creators abandon it after a couple of updates and you cry.

[Evil Surgeon]

Somebody has to stop @Underlord before it is too late. Where's the counter to Sleaze?

He's easily defeated. I mean come on.. he's undone himself.

So fear not.. the balance of power in the galaxy will be just fine.

So true dude, and its always a long time until you can find another game like it.

its like a discord themed forum now

regardless I have much respect for their efforts as I have stories stuck in my head but have no skill or ability to turn them into something.

Yeah, it's very easy to underestimate the amount of work (and money) that goes into creating these AVN. I wrote a short story and did some coding for one, and even that was almost too much to combine with a day job. I can't help but respect all these devs that create anything, no matter if it gets abandoned or not.

The only counter to sleaze is to have self respect and a sense of individuality... so we're fucked basically.

For me, it's the contrary: i'm a decent writer, but i don't know anything about coding and i'm not good at art (except maybe now that i try a bit of AI stuff).

In my experience, once you put anything out there, you'll come into contact with people who want you to succeed. Please don't feel daunted by the coding, it's really not very complex. And, if anything, not knowing what's possible will let you think out of the box and make it possible. Maybe not alone, but there are tons of knowledgeable people on here.
And about AI; this is one of the benefits of it, I think. It will let people like me, who just can't dedicate the time to learn complex software, to still create something.

I mean most of them are just winging it and started without even a end goal of how the story would go.

Yeah, that's fair. It's easy to get an idea of a concept and start working on it without having a clear path forward. Then roadblocks happen, and the frustration just isn't worth it.

Definitely don't bother with first releases.

This depends on your angle. As just a player, I agree with you. But, playing a first release can also put you in a position to give a developer valuable feedback. I honestly doubt many AVN devs have played hundreds of AVN, and can often use a player's perspective early in development.

Says who? You? Are you making up the rules now? Are you the law? Look at you.. all like Judge Dredd..

Also, yeah.. we're fucked. You're right.

Nah, we getting into fantasy territory now? At least ask for something more possible, like a unicorn, or even @Evil Surgeon medical license...

I'm sorry, my medical license is NOT to be shown around in public. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

If House had one, I believe Surgeon does too.

I just wrote out a long and genuine explanation of what I truly believe about the sleazy spreaders and realized that it's not worth it(at least not until I hit 40k). People are having fun with it somehow. Fuck it, SLEAZE away folks.
