Oh yes, i think many have great ideas and stories but not the necessary skills to realize them into any finished form. For me it's the writing mostly, it think i could learn the necessary (very basic) programming and some DAZ or whatever... but here we are, looking for games others made and complaining about what could or should be better/faster/nicer looking (not all of us of course, but enough).

Sometimes a good story gets in the way of the good sex scenes haha

they end up abandoned for various reasons like IRL time constraints, lack of support, burn out, lost direction, extended breaks... etc
regardless I have much respect for their efforts as I have stories stuck in my head but have no skill or ability to turn them into something.

These facts also hurt my feelings and thus are so called "bad facts". I don't want to hear anything other than good, reassuring facts, like "new update of my favorite game is online right after I reach end of content so I can play some more, even if the starving dev has to work himself into an early grave". Anybody telling me otherwise is a BADDIE, an unrelenting Evil-doer, yes they are!

Just play a normal VN haha

but when a good story sets up and embraces good sex scenes it's the ultimate in sleaze

As long as the sex scene is not like those meet and fuck games that you need to click mash or button mash to keep a sex meter up.
Also hate when the sex scene is poorly optimized and lags when clicking past it or using auto.

A lot of people in your situation do a partnership, but I'm sure it's hard to find the right reliable partner for that.
