And in engineering -- no mistakes in notes that way ( am can look a LOT like pm if you are tired ) Though in the days before digital clocks the old 24 hour analog ones were a bit confusing, now some kids can not even read a 12 hour analog clock

I'm not afraid to admit, it takes me some extra seconds to read an analog watch, but I would say, that's mostly because over here we use the 24 hour format.

A lot of these games tend to have less that can go wrong, so they age quite well. Especially the cartoony ones. Anything that attempted realism back in those days tends to have agend much more poorly!
