Dinner was excellent -- I had some of the shrimp, chicken and sausage gumbo I made a couple months ago. I usually make a big batch then freeze most of it in meal size portions. It gets better with age. I love making gumbo but it takes time, especially the roux, which is why I make a lot. I poured it over rice and had a few pieces of cornbread to go with it. AND a light crisp pale ale. While I was eating I watched the season finale of Dexter: Original Sin. A great meal mixed with Dexter's fun loving shenanigans -- what could be better?

And it is off to bed for me now -- my belly is full and I am warm and cozy Goodnight all - see you tomorrow

Good night to the spreaders of Sleaze and bringers of naughty comix and pix.

Now that the dreaded V-day is over i can drive off into the night, with my preferred soundtrack of course, this one is one of my favs and in many mixes i have for driving (synthwave is great for driving long)

Also the title thing should be fixed for P1 now.

Hi, Slum!

Bye, Slum!

At this point, I'm thinking you're doing this on purpose.

And in engineering -- no mistakes in notes that way ( am can look a LOT like pm if you are tired ) Though in the days before digital clocks the old 24 hour analog ones were a bit confusing, now some kids can not even read a 12 hour analog clock

I'm not afraid to admit, it takes me some extra seconds to read an analog watch, but I would say, that's mostly because over here we use the 24 hour format.

Hello Torquemadder and welcome to the thread.
Take a moment to read through the very first post of it, and then head on over to the university.
Both places have some good info for newcomers.

Valentines Day is extremely depressing for the unhappily single.

The commercialization of Valentine's Day can be traced back to trends started by influential corporations and producers. One of the earliest examples dates back to 1861, when notable chocolatier Richard Cadbury launched the “fancy box” campaign. From heart-shaped candy to jewelry, this extreme holiday-driven consumerism is proving to have lasting effects on the environment and people's relationships with materialistic gift giving. Valentine's Day is the second largest materialistic holiday and is a massive contributor to consumerism.

For once, i totally agree with you, i was really depressive yesterday. Plus, that's just another "feast" invented by marketing people to sell stuff by perverting love. It's commercial, normative and make people who are single feel bad, so that's an evil thing.

[quarterwealth]

Is there a release date for Being a DIK episode 11 yet?
nvm no there isn't
