Summertime Saga, it started off well but then it just got to ambitious for it own good, now it got reworked and the game has started back to the beginning.

The scenes of the girls cumming are good in it though. Also way better than Koishitsu or cartoony hand drawn.

The obvious competition site has a game called "Shadow" with a rating of 4.5/5. This must be totally overrated, as a quick look at the example images shows. It's illustrative for why some games are so comically overrated: Everyone with the least bit of taste will never download such a game and therefore never rate it.

An example for a slightly overrated game for similar reasons is Corruption Time. (PS: Not Corruption Time but the one by FilthySloth. Presumably it's in members+ here.) It's obvious from the description and the images that it focuses on incest with girls of questionable age. The game itself is abandoned, very short, and while it is pretty OK it's not spectacular. The inflated rating of 4.7 on that other site must be simply because games of this nature are typically not found there.

In general, HTML games, RPG Maker games, censored Japanese games and real porn games are overrated for the same reason. Most people are very reluctant to try games of these types. The people who do try them are either very uncritical or have unusual preferences that make them download specific games because of specific features. The ratings by these self-selected groups are therefore much more positive than the ratings by the more random groups trying out other games with more mainstream appeal.
