Latest Update is kind of screwed at the moment. We're looking into why this is happening. The fault is not with the Developer of the game but ours. Hopefully, it will be fixed fairly soon.

Kinda strange when you hire someone to code a site for you, they sell you a buggy version, but if you want them to fix the mess they made that will cost extra. What a racket. I mean if I sell a customer defective product I fix it at my own time/expense when it's my own fault and not their misuse or abuse of it. Otherwise word would spread and the household would end up in the food stamp line.

I don't know why, but Ren'Py games in general seem to get a lot of false positives. It's to the point where I tend to ignore them for all Ren'Py downloads, which is probably a bad thing in itself. I'll use VirusTotal if I want peace of mind.

I really hope not because i do the exact same thing but my anti virus and malware has been fine, so i try to not worry about all the false positives

I just use a dedicated porno PC, problem solved (it doesn't even have a new OS, it still uses W7 with no AV at all). Catch a virus = who cares, at best they get my random-generated PW's to a bunch of free porn sites. Even if it's really nasty like Stuxnet and nukes my PC = also don't care, it's 13yo, and I also have the porn on it backed up anyway. And a new PC good enough to just play porn probably wouldn't even be $300.

I'll agree with some of the reviews and people who have tried this game, the story is quite all over the place and random at some points.

Some renders/or most may seem "noisy", partly due to the render aspect ratio of 1280x720 (making them a little ugly to look at), but I have plans to make a better game like this or remaster it in the future. (This was my 2nd game), so obviously, it's not the best I could do.

I'd like to thank you all for playing this with all my mutual respect.

It's a great game with a lot of potential; however, the recent updates feel short. The new content can be read in just a few minutes, even at a leisurely pace. I hope the content with her dad picks up soon

@goregames maybe we could get a changelog so we would know when big portions have been released and can dive back in and when the update is more backend work to make things better going forward? I think most of us here wouldn't knock it if you offered a self-assessment of what the progress really looks like or what you intended to do with it. Would make offering feedback more constructive as well.

I wanted to share my thoughts after playing, but I have little to add to this
The story seems random, partly because we have little context for what's happening. We meet new characters, get a bit of exposition, then cut away to different people. Facts are kept vague, I assume to keep the mystery intact... But when everything is a mystery, there aren't many connections the player can make.
Additionally, I think it would be good to add more title cards between scenes when a time skip and/or location change is involved. For instance, Felicia just teleports to school early on. There was also a confusing chain of events of the two going to school but then (as I understand it) suddenly being back home again.

After playing the current content, I have a few (rhetorical) questions:

• Is Felicia's dad even real/alive?
  It seems to me that he's more of a projection of her subconscious, a result of her fear and past trauma. Though, if he isn't alive, who is paying her bills? Would Faith be involved with that?
• Felicia remembers physical abuse by her father, but doesn't think about what her mother (allegedly) did to her.
  This makes her consider her dad as a more imminent threat to her safety. Though, her dislike of being seen and touched could stem from Daniele's abuse as well.
• Jenny speaks about Felicia's dad as if they've met... ("your sexy dad") But have they met, or is she just saying that to get under Felicia's skin?
• What's Faith's interest in Felicia and Daniele? Does she even care about Felicia, or only about this debt Daniele has?
  The nature of this debt is dubious as well. Faith saying "you are not leaving this room until you pay your debt" suggests that the repayment isn't financial in nature.
  Did Daniele herself incur this debt, and is she fully aware of what it is?
• With Faith and Jade being connected, it doesn't seem likely that Faith has a dislike for the abuse Daniele dealt out, seeing as Jade is doing the same to Jenny.
  If anything, this could be one of the factors that makes her so infatuated with Daniele?
• When Jenny chooses to "Refuse and leave," they both still end up naked... Was this meant to allow players to skip this scene, or did something more severe happen to Jenny?
  If she decided to leave, why didn't she? How did Jade force her to undergo her punishment?
• What is Jenette asking forgiveness for? For being a prostitute? For only reaching out to Jenny now? For not trying to help earlier while she was aware of Jade?
• If Jenette and Jenny are full sisters, why didn't they know each other?

Plenty of questions that, I hope, get answered through the story in the future. I'm intrigued, to say the least, and look forward to seeing it all come together someday.

I'll be adding the changelog to the game as well, not just on the game thread. I've done this for AA.
You can see what it will look like if you go to the main menu on AA.

Yeah, the game is a mess... always are.
but to personal opinion, some say Alyssa's Ascension is my best work for a start (prologue) game.
