Oh you don't hold a candle to all the puns I've seen come from @Vidilo
Most of them are image memes, but the dad joke levels are off the damn charts there.

Half of all game threads are useless posts. Look at the first pages and how many of them are "Ugh... this kink..." "I don't like this kink" or "I won't play this" or any other form of pointless nagging. Those are 100% more useless than any THX post. Also +1 posts are already against the rules of F.95 in game threads.

Also your "unwatch" doesn't make any sense in all this. Every thread is by default on "unwatch" (you have to set it on watch first to unwatch it).
An unwatched thread will do nothing for you if you want to know if you had checked the game thread out. And a watched thread will mess up everything you actually care for.
You already said a thread you post on becomes "watched" in effect, but you somehow use that to filter out. And if there is already a bunch of useless crap on a thread, why add to it? Never post there to begin with, or ignore it. If you decided to make a useless post to mark it, unwatch it or ignore it.

You're going a long way to justify a particularly stupid habit when there are tools readily available that allow you to accomplish the same thing without posting useless crap and clutter. There's no good reason for it other than to draw attention to yourself. Adios.

Threads I've made and posted on don't seem to automatically go on watch for some reason
But I suppose that's valid.
I'll stick to my absurd library/review nonsense.
I'll probably regret it later; but for now I like it.

EDIT: Side note, I believe it is time for me to slumber. Until next time LC!

I'll DM you once I find something, thank you Tosser!
I'll be happy to do it.
What is this "unwatch"?
Is that not just, reverting it to default?
Yeah - once you've become active on a thread it becomes "Watched" and you get notifications. If you don't want to receive notifications from the thread in the future, you can "Unwatch" or "Ignore Thread" by hitting one of the buttons at the top of the page - I've done a screenshot of the top of this page and circled them in green.

This discussion started out about something going on elsewhere and doing a similar thing. If you happen to hang out elsewhere, look for this at the top of a page of you want to stop seeing notifications about it.

If you simply use the tools sites have available, you can watch or not watch and avoid being a narcissistic dick that makes useless posts like you're a dog marking a spot with its urine. ;)

Where did I wrote that?
Posting in a thread is not the same as relying on the auto watch function:

I would assume most regular users, especially those who post a lot, have the second option unchecked.

And if there is already a bunch of useless crap on a thread, why add to it? Never post there to begin with, or ignore it. If you decided to make a useless post to mark it, unwatch it or ignore it.
Again, unwatch is not a thing if you didn't set it on watch in the first place (auto watch counts as that) and it won't help you in any form to sort out game threads you already checked out.
F.95.zone has a limit on how many threads you can set on ignore, 1000 is the maximum. So this is pointless.

I explain why they do that, not to justify it. And why is a THX more useless and clutter more than any other "Thank you" posts that's done with more words?

Too many clicks path of least resistance just post something. People are lazy.

Lol Sounds like me. I don't sleep, I'm practically a vampire. I function with like 4 hours sleep on the daily, sometimes with only 2. It can be brutal.

Only settings I've changed since I made an account are my avatar, profile, and name customizations. Watching threads you post on is off by default.

What was the point of posting any of this in here anyway. Almost like the report button and staff team are there for a reason, and it's probably not so you take your problems to the most popular thread on the site. Talking about useless posts...

Wish I could get the time back it took me to read all that/make this message tbh
