so only worth while one is P4?
At P1, the timer on reactions goes away, you get a nifty badge, and access to a few other things that, sadly, are still in development. Some customization to your profile, as I recall. Biggest deal, though, is the timer. So if that's important to you, it's worthwhile. Besides, what else are you going to do with the LC?

I suppose you could be an anti-social NON-lurker, but where's the fun in that?

I totally agree. Those we good times. Each pushing each other to give better productions and products.

Yup competition breeds innovation and allows each competitor to check and balance each other, typically things start to slowly get worse once monopolies happen typically why almost anything is always better in the start rather than down the road. One of the few companies that have been around forever but feesl the same would be Valve but that's probably gonna change once Papa Gaben passes away praying they don't change too much.

Unrelated, Zuck has always been a Cuck big F to Mr Eduardo for his idea.

In the other big site, I was just observing since it's conception. Im probably one of the oldest members there. My first comment was when WVM dev changed the asian character because they got bullied in VNlovers reddit that she is the only one "not fitting with the rest" (which was, basically, the only cute girl there. Everyone else was trans looking. I hate redditors). And the new model was.. legit disgusting. That was his first and most major error and he got derailed after that.

A lot of devs make the mistake that the vocal minority are his paying customers. When someone pays for a product and continues to pay. most of the time he has no complains...

Competition is good we need another World War so we can have Internet 2.0 and other quick tech advances.

I find that's a symptom of a greater problem you can pick almost any medium of art and the things that always stand out is when the original artist/author starts catering to the whims of the people who complain. It instantly sucks the soul and identity out of most things and it just dilutes the overall experience "Authors" just need to focus on the thing they're creating and try to drown out all the people telling them how to create or what to do.

Well money talks...other peoples whim just gives you ton of money.
Just like drawing stuff for furries can get you lots of money.

Very true the low hanging fruit is always easier to obtain and its most often the path of least resistance for content creators when they can easily chase a couple of bucks instead of creating something from their heart.

But that being said I stand by what I said above you can easily see the gems that result from people with vision and drive and as cheesy as it sounds they have "soul".

I'm on my 3rd persona there due to the Mods being absolute asshats. Never got into WVM because all the girls looked like cats in the face - just would have been too annoying.

And speaking of that place and asshat Mods, there's a guy that keeps coming up in notifications posting "thx" on, seemingly, every fucking thread on the site - he's done it over 1,000 times the last couple of days. Some kind of spam bot, probably, testing for a bigger deluge of nasty links. However, when reporting the profile and explaining what's up, the douchebags reply "please report posts, not profiles", so today I reported several of the posts and put an explanatory note in the first one - all the reports were rejected. Place is Modded by basement dwellers with IQs lower than the number associated with the site, and the owner is apparently an absentee moron that lets them act worse than some of the trolls there. I'd quit heading over, but there are a few folks I'm "friends" with and like to check in sometimes. Devs seem to be more active there, too, so I like those threads where they hang out. :cautious:😤

Ah those wonderful Myspace days - I actually thought it would beat out Facebook (I also thought that Beta would beat VHS) Interestingly my old Myspace account still exists - or did 3 or 4 years ago.

I never used Myspace.

Ok, good morning/evening/night everyone!

Finally backread the whole thing... got some giggles. Notes to self: if you buy a house from someone who had dogs, especially big one, check the carpets, they might be misleading. There are people who still remember myspace, never a fan of it, FB did stuff better, now FB does nothing better. Heh, people forgot about the fact that last year in Aston University, UK, Prof Wladek Forysiak and Dr. Ian Phillips managed to crack the code and quote: "As part of an international collaboration, the academics transferred data at a rate of 301 terabits or 301,000,000 megabits per second, using a single, standard optical fibre.". I heard they want to lock that tech down for military use now, but meh, who knows?

i'm about to say that you're right, but i don't want ww3 to happen tbh.

I'll never miss AOL dial up haha
Never had AOL or dial up. When I got my first modern computer in SEP 2004, I got cable internet. Though I did have the ancestor of AOL, Q-link, on my commodore 64 in the early 1990s. It sucked. Everything half decent cost to use.

Considering the likelihood nukes would be used, technology after could drop to anywhere from the mid 19th century to the stone age (with some working things of later tech, though not likely any electronics)

There are a couple of users who do that, most actually use this as a way to "mark" a game thread they already checked out.

WW2 is a history lesson, WW3 is a possibility nobody wants to happen. If it does... well... it's better to work towards it never happening, honestly, no matter the reasons. The only war I'm interested in now is the Anti-NTR vs Pro-NTR factions war. Sometimes, you sprinkle the netorase in there and everyone loses their marbles. :ROFLMAO:

ww3 will likely be nukes or biologicals. Covid x4.
ww2.5 is kinda happening right now on the internet, everyone hacking everyone and stealing plans and data

@Guz89 fixed? Made it? Yeah it's new. :p
so only worth while one is P4?
I am curious as well…. I did the lurking thread to grind for + , then attempted to stay social but got the shits when a thousand deputy moderators got their newly minted badges and threw their weight around ( might be “exaggerated for clarity) spent the next 200 days banking interest off a low base… I was on the old one… 4000 pages on this new one? Wow…
I mean, the only one you need is M+ for the games, P4, there's some AI images, people on here have/are making.
So if you're into looking at that it's worth. :p

Done slacking welcome back haha

I'm backreading again around page 200 of the thread and doing some AI art on the side. Old users would get some coins soon because of my likes.
