If by backreading you mean catching up on yesterday's unread posts, then I guess I've already been brainwashed influenced into backreading. It just so happens that I come back right when the thread is starting to slow down and people are going to sleep.

The whole LC aspect of it does not matter to me anymore but I tend to react to any post I find informative - or entertaining. AND I will often react just because it is obvious that it was a high effort post for that person.

Reasons why I try to avoid making useless posts, I know I can't like everyone's post as I'm backreading so I try to make my posts worth something so I can get p1 and not have to worry about it, posting less than when I was going for games+ but still trying to keep the quality.

Also, just a protip. Become a backreader. Join the backreading force. It's the pop-idol scene for LC, anyone who's anyone backreads or used to. Join today! *This is totally not backreading propaganda. Individual results may vary*

It hurts backreading and having the cooldown when you see a good post but also want to keep catching up, I end up skipping some for the sake of getting to the ones more worthy. Or I like a post and the next post is 10x better so I gotta sit there waiting on the timer

Well it has been an interesting few days for me. I lost electricity for a little over 24hrs. Luckily I already had plenty of propane to at least stay warm. I hope everyone is nice and warm or what have you and that everyone one of my fellow lurkers are safe. Going to poke around in here for a few minutes before I head out and go check on the neighbors.

That is a start. We usually just read whatever we're comfortable with. I usually start wherever I was last before logging off. Unless I have been gone longer than a day, then I start about 10 pages back. That said though, some people read back pretty far, easily in the 20-30 page range. It can be a lot though doing that. But, it does help keep things fresh, revives older topics, and ensures everyone's post gets seen. Since sometimes this chat moves at warp speed. Or at least, it used to.

And yupp, the speed has decrease significantly.

For sure. One of the best animated comedy shows in my opinion. Idk why Archer fell off when others became ultra mega popular. I put Archer among my favorite shows.
