What do you think are some games(NSFW) that are mid at best but somehow manage to do well in sales/downloads/etc?

I'd add Mythic Manor to the list. I was extremely dissapointed when I tried it out. Nothing interesting happens in a game that is paradoxically way overstays its welcome and is too short for how long it has been going.

Agree with most of these. All of the ones I played I downloaded once, played for a while and went "why does everyone love this so much"?

I'd also add Maou-Sama and Out of Time; in both of them the writing had me deleting the game within an hour of downloading despite the renders being decent and the tags appealing to me. But they're apparently both pretty popular.

I feel like the games full of only model-looking women with almost identical face structures which always end up on steam (like WVM off the top of my head) are massively overrated.

Grandma's house, and many of the super popular 3d AVNs that started coming out around the same time are really overhyped. They are barebones stories that leap from sex scene to sex scene and always keep introducing new characters instead of developing existing ones. This is most likely because the developers themselves are really bored with the models they're working with and have to get their good on by introducing whatever body type they are currently into and then weaving that into the story - which is easy since they are always linear stories where the biggest choice is simply opting out of sex scenes.

Ive noticed a lot of games get called good, but they arent good they just have smols lmao. Not shaming Ive played 1 or 2 games with mostly smols that are genuinely good, but Im so tired of going to play a game and realizing at a certain point why it gets called good. Especially parental love, that game to me has nothing to it, the models are unnactractive, the story is terrible, and terrible animations.
