not gonna lie, i'm kinda lost
i got the + when they implemented it (online time + posts/threads, before coins, i think)
but lurked since (so i got about 40 coins or so)
the bank gives 2%, but if i put in less than 50 i never get a coin or just take more time?
(like, is it a daily tick or hour based accruing?)

Now that the front page got the Prestige Zone my lizard brain saw that there are games and demanded i at least peek at them
(but since i'm a broke boi guess i'll at least convince myself that "seeing it eventually" is good enough)

guess at least this will get me tossing words about again

It's daily. Every 24h you have to manually collect the interests, they won't accumulate for multiple days.
If you have less then 50 coins you will still geht 2% but they won't show. Because the numbers in tha bank are rounded numbers (0.1 to 0.4 -> 0 and 0.5 to 0.9 -> 1)
To make the bank worthwhile, more coins should be deposited, so make the effort to post a little more and only then rely on the bank.

I don't know how it's displayed for people without prestige, but there are no games in those parts, the only ones that would fit in there, would be that aren't allowed on LC anyways (L*ttle witches academy, H*mmingbird, G*irl scout island).
So Members+ will get you every game on LC.

P4 is for AI Art, it could be, that LC members might want to make an AI Art game and that could go in threre maybe.

Thanks for the detailed information, this is clearer than the other threads I read. I've just made my first deposit to the bank according to my calculation I should have enough for rank in about 6 months .
Maybe I should get back to the grind instead...

for comparison, Stories shows zeroes across the board

About the Ranks, it's my opinion, so take that what that's worth.
Members+ = Yes, it's the key to the smols after all
Prestige1 = If you have the coins, yeah. It takes the cooldown away. Only really worth if you want to be more active in the chat.
Prestige2+3 = Just Profile Custumizations, the Prestige Areas in the forum will never be used, because it's pointless to split them up in so many.
Prestige4 = It's for AI Art made by LC Users. But because of recent policy changes, the amount of posted AI droped to nearly zero (You have to upload it to another site and link it here).
Uncirculated Rank = lol... no

Which one?
I guess it's the end of the cooldown, which limits how much coins you can get between postings. You have to wait 90 seconds between posts to earn coins from them.
Without it you technically get faster coins.
P1 and higher do that.

GUIDE TO LC RANKS mentions it for each rank
I guess if it just lets you post/react faster it doesn't really help people who only want to lurk. Seems like the benefits after members+ are mostly just useful for people who are very active?

Ah, yes, that guide. It could be clearer.
It's about the cooldown that I mentioned earlier.

Yes, that's right. Everything besides members+ is mainly for people who want to interact with the community.
No cooldown and fancy profile customizations are pointless for a lurker.

Members+ is all most users need.

I dont have access to member+ yet, which is why I am using the bank feature.
Once I gain access to members+ and use the bank features again, if I am below the 750 coins requested to access members+, will I be able to access the section or do I have to have the 750, always to access the forum?

You buy Members+ in the shop with the 750 coins. It's an permanent item that grants you the access.
