We already had that discussion. For some reason they don't want to put the abandoned tag and that is leading people to believe that the game will have an update at some point. Right now the best thing is just to assume the game is dead since the original dev is gone.

That dev (Blackheart Games) is not in jail and is still developing his own games, which you can find here on LewdCorner.

Couldn't, even if I wanted to.

I'd have to make the whole game from scratch and re-write it, as this game is Westy's Intellectual Property.

So in order for me (or anyone else) to continue the game without changing it (pick it up where it left off), we would need Westy's consent, which simply is not going to happen.

I mean he is probably in prison so you don't really need his consent. You would need his character assets though and the only two people that I am aware that have some of those are Seath Black and Abere Lucifer(former Doc5252). But seath already said that he won't finish it so the game is dead. I don't know why people are still talking about this. Don't get me wrong this is still one of my favorite adult games but the game died the moment westy got arrested. We just have to accept it and move on.

There are other devs, who were suggested to fill the gap. At least RIC0H denied because of missing permissions.

I wonder, why those users, who insist of new versions, do not do the task on their own???

And imho the "On hold"-tag is closer to the reality than "abandoned".

That wasn't the only (or even the primary) reason Seath isn't going to do it, but we'd have to go to the other thread to discuss the reason.

The game is functionally abandoned. At this point, no one is working on it, and no one has stated any plans to work on it.

Game is pretty great and wholesome...no actual dark stuff happening.

But the game is done, since the developer got arrested. no more updates ever

Its very wholesome, the father can be a bit of a sneaky creep at night sometimes, but they love him and he loves his family, He also has option to blackmail a family a bit... but he turns it around caring for them as well. One of the daughters of that family has a sweet moment with him when he stands up for her. (If you dont blackmail, doesn't happen though.)

He's already in prison, it can't get much worse no matter what he does at this point, other than perhaps get his parole denied if that's used as a future reason (not that labeled sexual predators ever get paroled much in Australia anyway, most serve all of their original sentence). I suppose they could also take away whatever priviledges he has left if any in the meantime or find some other dumb law to use against him to add time to his sentence, but easier to just assume no consent is needed. At this point he's probably wishing PF never happened so couldn't care less who else does what with it.
