I get the reasons for requiring interaction to access closed content, but 750 is too much. Just makes people clutter threads with useless comments.

Well anyone with half a brain knows that you only need to interact in the lurker thread and you will be bathed in coins. There is no reason not to get 750 coins in a single day from reactions to your posts.

IDK about bathed in coins, but making a few posts a day in there has yeilded about 50/day.

Well I don't know what to say. I used to average 2,000 coins daily when I was more active in that thread and even received 4,000 coins daily on many occasions. Maybe my posts were more entertaining than yours?
Here is the proof that the coins are easy to get from that thread....

At that time the thread were generally more active, cause more people wanted coins for ranks. Now there are way less people yapping. and afaik at that time there were AI in that thread allowed. Now even nipple is not.
I were other times. But I could get 1500 coins in the hangout spot. SO it is do able. But it is not so easy as before.

Why? Just make posts and use the bank, then if you want to you can just go back to lurking and still receive coins in interest. It's as easy as that...

Real question, since we've heard hosting is too expensive and all. Doesn't keeping users more active cost more bandwidth, thus making hosting more expensive? It just seems like engagement with the site is good, but pushing a ton of it is counterintuitive. Plus memes, pics, etc means more server space, right?

Or is stuff kinda the same price no matter what?

It helps to be generous in using the "Like" button .. but only on posts you think actually deserve it.

Recipients of likes are more .. likely .. to be inspired to give out more likes themselves.

So while you are here it can help to try to give a like every few minutes if you can

Really it comes down to participating.
Just stick to the guidelines about not spamming or posting meaningless stuff just to post.
