People not being afraid to say so? It wasn't that long ago some states/countries - and not just the very backwards countries - someone could be jailed or institutionalized for being LGBT. So, apparently there is a major genetic glitch in the USA Gen Z population which haven't been observed in any human or animal population prior to this day, because in the natural course of events such a population would go extinct Well, I'm just kidding. Of course this huge upsurge in the numbers of LGBT+ has nothing to do with genetics. It's the result of ideological brainwashing. People are made to believe that they can choose their gender like food in a supermarket.

You don't know scientific definitions, you confuse gender, sex and sexuality, i really love it when men try to mansplain me a subject i study for like a decade.

Reality is exactly the contrary of what you say. There were always people who were queer (there is many historical proofs of it, oldest written reference to genders outside binary is 1750 BC). They were forcefully brainwashed into being cishet and/or just stay hidden because of bigots that persecute them, sometimes even massacred them (like with gender variants in first nations of America). Evolution on those questions isn't sudden, it's a century long process, with increasing women visibility and rights, then gay visibility and rights, then trans visibility and rights... In many places around the world there is still repression (even death penalty for gay relationships). Even in developed countries, sociological studies show discrimination persist, just by looking at the news you can see we are more in a regression period for humans rights, linked to fascists gaining more and more power in many countries.

I don't think there is an important genetic factor to being LGBT+. Still, those sexualities and genders are as natural as the binary. Scientists already know in 2000 more than 200 species were homosexual practices were common and documented (some really close genetically to us, like bonobo), there is also some species where there is gender change, nature is diverse or as i prefer to say it it's a rainbow.

You invent widely exaggerated number to cause morale panic. We see an increase of such people now because they were hidden. It will soon reach a maximum, like with comparable other things that were once forbidden like being left handed for example. To answer your point, there is plenty of those species, as long as there is a mean of reproduction it's no problem, it's even an evolution advantage (sex can help improve productivity, encourage solidarity, resolve conflicts): monkeys, in particular bonobos, are a good example of a species close to us that often have such a bisexual behavior. Let be serious for a minute here. According to you, increasing visibility of gays and trans people cause 1/3 of the population to become LGBT+. In reality, more than 99% of the content on any medias is still cishet even in developed societies, rich conservatives owns large majority of medias, in most schools, meager sex education available only talk about heterosexuality and never mention transidentity (in fact, it's forbidden to talk about those subjets in many amaericans state for example). With such a situation, by your own logic, it should cause almost everyone to be cishet. So, you should question influence of the massive and constant cishet propaganda through thousands years of history on gender and sexuality, not the contrary.

Homosexual and trans people don't cause harm to anyone (in fact it's proven that letting a trans person do the transition and don't harass them constantly widely reduce risk of self harm and improve their mental health a lot). There is really a gender group who cause massive problem, it's cis men, not trans. More than 95% of violent and/or sexual crimes are done by cis men.

What you admit between the line is your true position. You have supposedly no problem with people gaining more rights, but you just want to keep your privileges. Only thing that women and LGBT+ people (also people who aren't white) demand is equality and we are still far from it. Thinking women and LGBT+ people gain too much rights and are privileged in today society is total deconnexion to real world. Data and sociologic research both show there is still massive discriminations.

Problem is conservatives are irrational people and often religious fanatic who are intolerant to the point they hate everyone different than them, who go on a witch hunt every sunday about a different random subject, who refuse to hear what vast majority of specialists (biologists, sociologists, historians, psychologists, physicians...) say about transidentity, who prefer to believe opinions of people (journalists, writers, politicians, managers, priests...) who aren't knowledgeable on this questions, who think their beliefs have more value than reality, truth and science.
