I got a question about the ranks, i tried searching in various guides but didn't get an answer.
After buying a rank, do the ones above that still remain at full price or is the price of the rank you bought deducted?
For example, 2.5k-750=1750 for P1 instead of the full 2.5k

If you want to buy the P1 before, ok. But if you have patience, you can quickly buy the P4 (don't forget the bank: Collect>deposit>collect>deposit...)

With such prices, buy yourself a weekend trip over France or Germany, and buy a better PC over here. And it would still be cheaper.

Not really. Until current Switch keeps on selling there's no real incentive to replace it. My best guess is that the new model is coming out upon developer request, since it's clearly outdated now (still the best indie platform, IMHO).

Numbers are still very good. But even with new version, it started decreasing in 2022.

Also, Nindendo has history to massively fail every generation after they succeeded :
NES/SNES = 110M -> 33M N64 -> 22M GameCube
Wii 100M -> WiiU 13M
Switch 146M -> Next ?
Handheld consoles are different ... and I guess that's also part of the success of Switch, and why they will continue on this path.

Gamecube decided to go with a smaller DVD than X-Box or PS2, who could double as DVD players just when the media was taking off.
WiiU just had the worst ad campaign ever.
That said... will Nintendo screw up or did they learn their lesson?

MSI.......I doubt that. Especially since MSI is generally annoying with the 2nd SSD slot needing to be installed and need to ask for the 2nd bracket.

Exactly.
Pattern show they dont understand what made the success and failure. Or do not accept the reasons of fails and are able to repeat them.
I really think they are aware of this, and tend to be scared to start a new gen.
(also, taking distance from Sony/Microsoft, having their own cycles is a great thing imo)

Now the scary part is ... will next console be another fail ? That's a reason to not preorder and wait one more year

Yes, they gave up on sheer power and built their not so little niche. I totally agree with you.

IMHO buying a console on day one is always a mistake. Limited catalog of games, rarely good ones (Nintendo being the exception) higher prices (this generation being the exception thanks to a couple of global emergecies).

Ironically Switch was the only console I bought on day one (two days earlier, to be honest). I was mesmerized by the hybrid concept and, most of all, by Zelda Breath of the Wild.
