At what age did you first do drugs?

Maybe it's just my generation, but I don't really count tobacco and alcohol
Obviously, you forget caffeine, just like most of the people here ^^

For the weed: Wrong dosage. You need either half of the dosage to get the good feeling later - or you need the triple dosage to get the insta-high and stop smoking at the right point. In other words, you are one of the people who react better to pipes and bongs instead of joints or edibles.

My first real drink was probably around 12. Then I started smoking and regularly drinking coffee at 15 and tried weed around the same time.

Nowadays, almost 30 years later, I still smoke more than I'd like and don't consider myself woken up until I've had my first cup of coffee. I drink casually, perhaps a few times a week, but very rarely to excess (i.e. to the point of having a hangover the next morning). Since my teen years, I've smoked weed perhaps 5-6 times total - I don't enjoy it all that much and it makes me incredibly hungry afterwords...

So the aftermath is - firm addiction to caffeine and nicotine. I can live without alcohol, no problem, although I'd miss my occasional drink.

I tired lots of drinks between 15-25 but don't like any of them. I don't like bitter beverages.

Sorry to hear that. I guess it isn't a guarantee like cigarettes coz I used to smoke weed almost every day over the last decade. Definitely once a week. I stopped a few months ago because I didn't want it to make me crave a cigarette since I quit smoking. Wasn't too hard to stop cigs thanks to vapes and gradually lowering the nicotine content to zero. But I've never had any cravings for weed or trouble stopping like with cigs regardless of how often I smoked. It could just be a far lower chance of getting addicted than with other substances
Ya i think ur right about the chances being lower. I read the chances apparantly are higher if u start early.

Drugs are EVIL! they have never led to anything good, and they will never lead to anything good! ( is tobacco really considered a drug in your countries? I don't smoke, but tobacco is just tobacco, you don't get any effect after smoking a cigarette. Unless you kill your lungs and stink )
Totally agree.

I don't need a lesson on how to do something I have no interest in doing.

Got drunk for the first time around 14-15, weed a couple of years later. Everything else always seemed not worth the risk.

drank when I was 16, smoked weed at 21. last time I smoked weed was 2 years ago and last drink was 9 months ago. starting to think I'm not normal cause I've never had an uncontrollable addiction like urge.

ça dépend, est-ce que les champignons comptent ?
Yes. They hare a psychoactive substance

You can get addicted to a shitload of things. Addiction isn't a mechanism only found with "hard" drugs.
Lucky for you that you didn't suffered from addiction to it, but I can assure you that addiction to weed is a real thing. Have a bunch of relations who are..

No drugs for me. Just a little bit of alcohol now and then. Well a little bit quite regularly. Well quite a lot quite regularly. OK so i have a problem ..... But no drugs.

First time smoking cigs and drinking 14, weed was around 16. Shrooms, e and coke in college. I like the natural stuff but anything with chems is just plain bad. Now its all about the coffee.

Smoked at 12, found out I cannot smoke due to health issue.

I got really drunk once when I was 20 and decided it wasn't worth it. I also stopped smoking 4 years ago.

I smoked weed for the first time when I was 17. Nothing exciting.

Only because alcohol is legal and socially acceptable. It's certainly less dangerous than nearly all illegal ones (as in the ones not marijuana.)

Look at the the numbers of those using illegal drugs who end up in the hospital/dead vs those who drink alcohol (which is the majority of adults.) I mean, that way of thinking jumping of a skyscraper is less dangerous than driving..

Never. Past, present & future.

Do not dis the :coffee:! I wouldn't be able to work without it (I'm a programmer, it's mandatory)
