You mean wrong reasons. With the exception of tobacco alc has the most addicts and causes the most deaths of ALL drugs, legal and illegal.I don't consider alcool a drug, for many reasons.
Only because alcohol is legal and socially acceptable. It's certainly less dangerous than nearly all illegal ones (as in the ones not marijuana.)You mean wrong reasons. With the exception of tobacco alc has the most addicts and causes the most deaths of ALL drugs, legal and illegal.
But i understand, you couldnt swing your "no drugs" sign that much if you would include the truth.
And hey, if people were free to decide for themselves and the govs wouldnt support crimes by keeping drugs illegal by law, there wouldnt be any organized crime focused on drugs and the death rate would shrink down to those who overdose or believe they can fly + being a legal industry would produce jobs and the taxes would benefit everyone. But thats just the using brain logic, it never works for govs, laws and common people.
It's still a drug. Anything that has an effect is. Tylenol isn't addictive but is still a drug. Though for some reason, the DSM does include the category "marijuana addiction." Psychological addiction maybe, like gambling. no alcohol isn't worse than "most illegal drugs." If you ever were around addicts to illegal drugs vs alcoholics you would know that. At least when sober the alcoholics normally know what planet they're on. And have you ever seen a long term meth user or such?Nope, except for the very few high addictive drugs you could take them all from time to time, they are only dangerous on high dosage (something you would learn if they were legally sold) or regular consumtion (something all drugs have in common, even the legal ones - thats also why weed isnt and was never a drug: no physical addiction).
Addiction aside, most drugs damage primary the parts of the body used to consume them, smoked stuff primary the airways, eaten stuff primary the digestive system, sniffed stuff damages primary the mucosa, etc.
Going from the initial damage it becomes worse. But alc damages the whole body incl. nerves and cells and is worse then most illegal drugs.
Only because it's legal. Most people drink at least some. There's no such thing as moderate heroin or meth use. You also don't get fired from a job for having drank in the last week. Now if you show UP drunk...You can check the death rate statistics yourself, alc has the pole position of all drugs and that only counts the drinkers, considering the fact how many accidents and lost control deaths it causes you can increase the number by at least a third.
All the illegal stuff get still consumed. In fact, some are mostly consumed because they are illegal. Dealers make their money because they manipulate, push and convince their stock to new consuments, especially to young/naive people who dont know the difference between gov-propaganda, dealer-propaganda and reality.Only because it's legal. I mean, for other drugs you could count accidents involving them, murders during robberies, etc. If they were legal and as easy to obtain, the numbers for them would go way up Even more if use was also socially acceptable.
It's certainly less dangerous than nearly all illegal ones (as in the ones not marijuana.)
