Not really this site's fault when loli devs are quitting left and right with all the internet (and real life) loli hostility (so there's nothing new to leak). Aside from making monetization an uphill battle some would simply rather not make anything than bend a knee to some platform's whims that are vastly different from their vision. Even regular unleaded AVNs are dropping off as far as new releases thanks to Patreon's Hayes department/censorship, esp since they've expanded on things besides just incest bans (probably far more than required just to appease Visa/MC) to the point what is allowed ain't even worth reading for the most part, let alone paying money for.

Fuck man, this was the only place where we could get news about the game since his discord is only for subs. The game will leak eventually, but it was much more safe when the dev was the one doing public releases. Now it's going to be a shit show because people will leak early versions without bug fixes and it's not guaranteed that they will also release the fixed versions.

He has 2 Discords, one for subs and a sfw one that's public linked in the OP for those that haven't subbed. As long as SS doesn't close it's doors I'll just post devlogs here for those that would rather avoid Discord (and with how shitty SS's customer service is it would not surprise me at this point, it seems like some lone guy in some mom-and-pop shop just saw an opportunity with Patreon crackdowns, made some bank by making a censorship-free version of Patreon, and then decides to disappear when predictably things get more difficult, as if you need to talk to someone good luck, they have no phone number and mostly ignore emails, which might as well be [email protected]).

On top of that now internet is flooded with AI as well and especially as a new creator trying to compete with AI that gets better year by year and people not caring if something is a 3D render or image generated by AI in 1 second with 0 thought to it, but the real issue is that AI gonna 1 day gonna only create perfect images and people don't realize that if in the world only exists 10/10 art then that become the lowest standard, people will stop appreciate any work at all coz there's no any spectrum anymore ( same as you cant be smart with 230 IQ if everyone else has 230+IQ), there can only be very good art when the standard is low and most people cant get to that lvl etc) there wont be an spectrum anymore from bad to good, therefore very good art will become mid and that will be the highest on the spectrum that we gonna have.
So yeah trying to become a creator for content like this nowadays is stupid and dumb or clueless like I was , I'm sure if people knew before all the hurdles they wouldn't even think bout it, here i was very lucky that some people really liked my works and I wanted to keep trying to make this work after I had almost a year break from any of this. So unless u like AI or gonna like it etc, there's only bad news for the future of this type of content.

It is also a kind of high-risk vs high-reward kind of situation, because the competition is logically smaller than when it comes to more mainstream porn games.

But these games still exist and are able to generate some kind of income.

but those people will also use AI images, people do Koikatsu coz its easier than Daz or eat less GPU etc, Daz would be as easy and demanding as Koikatsu, everyone would use Daz, so once AI will be a prompt away from everyone creating flawless art, then thats what everyone will do

Yeah this is a smaller reason why I just sub and dl official links most of the time if I actually like an AVN. The better uploaders also put a hash in the OP's to verify the files, so if the hashes don't match after download then don't unzip it, it's been fucked with by some 3rd party and most likely some sort of malware is piggybacking it and also why it's a dumb idea to ask for someone else's Renpy saves as they can execute their own code when loaded and a great way to fly under the radar.

Part of ketzal's discord is now public. Instead of posting status and game updates here he will do it only on discord and SubsrcibeStar.
Afaik there will be still a public version. The only difference is that the link will not be posted here by ketzal himself. So either you have to go to the discord server or wait till a member of the discord server posts the public links here.
The safest way to make sure the links are from ketzal and not manipulated is to grab them from discord directly. Or you have to trust one of the members here if he posts the links.

You can use MEE6 or whop bot on discord (bot integration) as an alternative for Patreon or SubscribeStar, if you search for alternative support platforms.

For me, AI and Real Porn instantly go on my ignore list, if I wanna watch Real Porn I'll go watch the videos, and AI will never replace what I see as real art, something that someone really put some time and thought into to create, rather than someone typing some stuff and letting the AI do all the work, but that's me

The truth is most people say this about AI and most of them will convert as soon it become better, soon this will be a niche genre "2D/3D art" same as hand-draw animations was back in the day, people were saying same thing bout 3D art like they say about AI now, but slowly most people accepted computer graphics as art and hand-drawn animations are now a very niche genre, and theres pretty much 0 reasons this it wouldn't happen with AI as well, its the same story, different names, and you can already see it happening, a lot of top rated AI art on sankaku/ehentai etc have 5/5 ratings and a lot of favorites while few months ago there were so few or none at all.
