O yes, I remember Suicided Club. it was another decent movie. I also like a lot Hideo Nakata. he directed Ringu and a bunch other movies. His works are also masterpieces and he is also very well respect within Japanese horror movie would. You must watch some movies from Takashi Shimizu His work is also amazing, especially in the making of Ju-On, or the Grudge. The west versions of Ringu and Grudge are just not the same but still are good, but Japan still makes some of best horror and crime movies in the world, where as Hollywood have lost the plot, obsessed with fantasy and CGI just to make fast cash.You should, it's super funny and one of a kind. I watched several movies from Sono Shion, even Hair Extensions, that's pretty bad, lmao. It was a time I was tracking every movie from him I could find. Suicide Club (自殺サークル) [yeah, it' has been wrong translated] is also a very good one and it's considered to be in the same setting that Noriko's Dinner Table, so you should watch it. Don't forget about The Ring, that movie created school!
I watched many Japanese movies, from the classics of Ozu Yasujirō and Kurosawa Akira to Kitano Takeshi, Miike Takashi or Takita Yōjirō. One of my favorite Japanese movies is The Man Who Stole the Sun (太陽を盗んだ男). Maybe I should go back at watching cinema and try to find more Japanese movies, but they are not as easy to find as it was years ago and I don't have anymore a DVD player.

yeah, there are so many different concepts and beliefs. I just was taught there is the Great Creator. we are born to do whatever, like follow peace or something like this, then we enter some kind of afterlife. The rest of it all seems to be just confusing mess of everyone else perception. One group swears by the Holy Bible as being the true works of God written by mankind, others believe the Quan, others the Torat, then the Buddhist and so on. There must be hundreds of different beliefs, but I notice most seem to suggest there is afterlife. we are not purely born to just be dead, but are being prepared for another existance. I like this consept because otherwise what is the point? I am not huge into religion or philosophy. I just see things that seems to make sense to my understanding and let everyone else believe their own theories. Religion and politics is a very dangerous areas to talk about. I believe our body dies and everything rot to the dust but the spirit goes to better place. Other than this, it gets to debates and then confusion and then fights. Simplest of ideas can be the most practical IMO.
I agree with you, but IMO, the Hobbit was bit better than 5 out 10, but that's fine. we all have different likes and such. I still think Peter Jackson certainly did a great job for his time, considering no one had managed to make successful LTR movie series before. I often wonder how much or little J R Tolkien would have thought abut it all.

I understand what you mean and didn't really think about it this way. I agree, some things could have been better but I see it all as fantasy so its not supposed to be realism so much, but I think it is hard to generate such large army strategies, even with CGI. I mean, I did find couple things bit stupid, but mostly it was pleasing that I see it all. I thought the Elf army was pretty good in general, and the armor was really cool. Even the Dwarven army looked pretty good. At least how I see it all.

My biggest pet peevee with the hobbit trilogy is that the majority of dwarves in the group did not look like dwarves. Just looked like short regular humans or hobbits if you removed the pointy ears and hairy feet. I did enjoy seeing a dwarf army fully armored and filthy. At least if memory serves the female dwarves in intro had beards. Also not enough elves got killed in the movie For a fight almost a war between dwarves and elves. It did raise my opinion of legolas character and i can understand why gimli ended up seeing him as an exception to sodding elves rule.
