the dev, to me at least, seemed hell bend on making a cuck polyamorous game. he asked the question, got an overwealming FUCK OFF to sharing and yet he still made the game a cuck polyamorous one.
what was the point?

No to sharing with either men or women ( I can tolerate g2g in a harem if I have the option to allow it or not-I wont- and the MC is present at all times.)

I think most people, including me, prefer solo harems. Mainly because sharing is kind of a similar experience to netorare for people who are not into those kinks.

Especially when it is forced sharing (there are no clear options to avoid it) it is basically ntr to people who do not want it (not ntr in the story but ntr to the player).

Anyway I prefer solo harems because it does not feel like the love is spread out. Ultimately the main character is the most loved, and everyone is loyal.

The point was to see if there is any interest in a game about sharing. Yes, I will make it anyway, cause it's not about making a popular game, it's about making this game, this story. Also, this is very much the wrong word for it, cause everybody thinks about it like MC has the girls and shares them with other males. That is not the situation. I can't put a proper tag on it, cause people freak out, if it's misused. But maybe a "free use" would be better or just "family orgy" as it is.
Anyway, whoever is interested, can check out the development progress. Thank you for sharing all your opinions!

Currently playing Summer Story (you play as 1 of 2 brothers staying a summer with your older sister) where there was an option to either go after your sister alone or involve your brother, I chose to go solo, but with full intention of checking the sharing out (game is small enough in scope it might be fun still, though less immersive)

I got lazy with that game and install a gallery unlocker to see the new scenes without bothering to actually play it anymore. I'd prefer to cuck the other brother anyway.

I'm not a fan of sharing Li with other dudes, I have seen the odd VN use the "I don't want you to be with other guys to avoid STD's", and I think that's a good excuse. But the girls can enjoy each other as much as they want.

Everyone has their own preferences. I'd agree with the solo folks. I'm not 100% against sharing a harem, but I wouldn't quite know how it would play out in a way that I wouldn't be bothered by. A harem game already suspends disbelief that the girls are all cool with it, then adding in another man that the girls are equally but not more willing to have sex with just seems so implausible it's hard to accept.
I also agree that passing a girl around is pretty degrading. It only kind of works in female MC games, and even then a lot of authors seem to resort to less-than-consensual sex.

as for how to call it , well, certainly not a Harem, . open relationship or free for all or anything but harem. cause that is definately not a harem. and if the mc shares, then I believe that the game must be tagged with ntr ( specifically netorase) unless none is in a relationship in which case the closest I can think is a, fwsb ( family with sexual benefits) witho not attachment to eachother beyond the family bonds. everyone fucks every one which, again, is not a harem..
