I like pregnancy a lot, but as others have pointed out most games don't do much with it. At best you see them pregnant in the epilogue, at worst you get a "she's pregnant" notification after a scene and then the game gets abandoned a month later. In the topic of pregnancy. What is the stuff that you like about it and the stuff that you don't?
In terms of games, how would you go about implementing it? Would you like to only have it as a concept? Characters getting pregnant and have a skip until they give birth. Or would you want it to be visually represented and influencing the story/gameplay?
Hippity hoppity your idea is now my property.I like pregnancy a lot, but as others have pointed out most games don't do much with it. At best you see them pregnant in the epilogue, at worst you get a "she's pregnant" notification after a scene and then the game gets abandoned a month later.
But part of that is just a function of the fact that most games just don't take place over that long a timespan. Even if they reach completion they're often not covering enough time for a pregnancy to begin showing, much less a birth to actually happen, unless they do some major time compression.
Personally I'd like to see a game that progressed one week at a time, with events and scenes just happening at some point within each week. Should allow for a reasonable game pace while also letting the pregnancies in the story progress visibly.
You can't steal my idea, cause I'm donating itHippity hoppity your idea is now my property.
I'm gonna make my game with something similar.
I'm planning to do some fantasy stuff with different races and pregnancy times. Maybe also just add certain traits or mutations to make them more fast, fun or more functional to the game.
I really liked the idea of skipping a week and maybe get a small rundown of the events that happened in that week
