I assure you sir, none of them vanished. "nervously wipes sweat" they just suffered extremely unfortunate accidents, "stutters" I swear. Take aplicant 003 for example, as she was arriving to the interview site she slipped and fell down a stairwell for 3 stories before her hankercheif got caught on the handrail, wrapped around her neck and she choked to death. Not a soul in sight to help the unfortunate lass.

So they were arrested, interrogated, shot with a water pistol, and made to eat 4 hoagies? 🤣

THAT'S IT!

You got me.

Couldn't fool you for a second...

I'm weird in that a huge amount of content doesn't bother me. It's like saying "too much cake / sex / money".

As a kid, I didn't like romance, at all. But I was fascinated by the concept of soaps:
5 Episodes a week!
That's (taking out holidays) : 250 episodes a year!
Some had been out for 1-2 DECADES before I was born (some were on radio)! So much to catch up on (though there weren't VCRs yet... so... SOL)

Still, that's fucking awesome.

Now?
Disney+ with it's 10 (max) shows/movies a year... each TV show 6-ish episodes in length... is too... much?
I'd want 250 episodes +/- movies of Marvel a year!

Even non-marvel is often trimming from 23 episodes (now called an "Odyssey" by some) to 6-12.

You hate the above? You hate the above. Your call.

But it sucks to have things you like... hated... by the majority of people (and yes, the parallel of threads like this for the reason they exist on a site like this... isn't lost on me).

BONUS ROUND = People think it's STUPID to have a "Previously... on Marvel." before a movie or show.
YET, when I'm rewatching X-men 92 (before starting 97) and a 30 MINUTE tv show has a 2 MINUTE "Previously... on X-men" in front of most episodes.

Again, it sucks to love something that everyone else hates...

Hello LuvGamz! I "LuvGamz" to see another one of your detailed write-ups!

I want to add a little clarity to what I posted last night.

I'm weird in that a huge amount of content doesn't bother me. It's like saying "too much cake / sex / money".

I feel like you've misunderstood what I was saying. The amount of content itself, doesn't bother me. As I said, I'm a Marvel Fanbear! Marvel could release 100 Episodes a DAY and I would be there.
My issure is not the Quantity, it's the Quality.

When I said I'm glad that Marvel are slowing down, it's not because I want less content. It's because I want them to have more time to work on what they're releasing.

I'm weird too. I have enjoyed a lot of Post-Endgame content, which I know many other fans didn't like. I enjoyed Eternals mostly, which I know gets panned.
But, even as a fan, I can notice a steep decline in Quality. I just want Marvel to take a moment to breath, before coming back again.

You use the anology of "too much cake" - I like that one. I love cake! But cake has to be made by a Bakery. In this case, Marvel is the Bakery, providing us the Cake. But the Bakery has commited to making SO MUCH cake, they're running out of ingredients, the cakes are less delicious. I don't want LESS cake, I like LOTS of cake, but I would rather the Bakery either Bought More Ingredients (hired more staff/spent more money on a quality product), or slowed down to make Better Cakes. I'd rather the first option, so I get more cake, but I'll take the second option, if the cake is extra delicious.

And, once again, I sign off by saying - Just having a healthy discussion! I never want the language barrier or lack of online nuance to cause a conflict.
I'm, in many ways, agreeing with you. But just adding my bear-thoughts!

Oh, and about this bit:

But it sucks to have things you like... hated... by the majority of people

"The Majority of People" don't hate Marvel. There's a reason they're still going and still grossing. You just have a very vocal people who dislike it. We often forget that, online is a very small subset of people. For every person online talking about something, there's another thousand people who don't care. And a lot of the people who have "fatigue" are probably the people who were, at one point, quite into it! So, it's natural they've been worn out by things.

I'm still going strong though! And if you ever want to discuss what's good about Marvel, I'm your Bear!

Didn't see that anyone answered you or if you resolved it yourself, but, you can check your "Transactions" to see what kind of penalty may have hit you, since that's the only way you should have a negative.

...you can filter by transaction type. A reduction would likely be under "Adjust" if you can't see anything on the first page.
Thank you! I wasn't aware of this. It's so useful.

I love marvel....the old comics and games. New ones kinda stale generally and only deserves piracy.
I usually just read from pirate sites now or listen to one of those audio comic youtubers (like comics explained and comicstorian).
If I found the premise of the story interesting I also read them myself.
Overall, Marvel just needs to get their shit together and do better stories.

I actually can really see your point when it comes to quality vs quantity.

I'm actually going to go back to my Soap example. With 250 episodes, they are NOT going to be a par with a show that has 23 episodes a year. Or a movie that takes 3 years to make.

Sidebar with old numbers:
It takes 3 years to make a movie.
It takes 2 hours to see it.
It takes 15 minutes to drive home, go to the website and type "So when's the sequel?"

In the case of a soap, it gets a LOT of leeway from me due to the 250 eps. For me, when Marvel went supercharge content, I assumed it moved from night-time show quality, to soap quality. Like you, I can see the quality hit, but I'm ok with it since I got more of it.

BUT

I can totally see people that want the opposite. I just don't enjoy AS MUCH great content that's sparse.
Real example: Don't give me a once in a lifetime all expense paid ticket to a 5 star restaurant... gimme daily McDonalds (or Harveys or whatever) for life. I'll just need to buy fruits and vegetables at the grocery store to not... you know... DIE!

Also, thanks for the reminder about "everyone hating Marvel". I lose track of that.

-----

Finally, a complete non-sequitur about soaps. I was watching it with my aunt... I THINK it was Days of our Lives. I never found the clip. It'll lose a LOT in the telling because I can't show the acting, but based on the DELIVERY it was the funniest thing I'd seen in my life. So much though, that I think it was improv, and they kept it.

SETTING = A bad guy has the good guy in a neck-lock. The good guy's love interest is terrified. It looks like the standard face-off and I'm expecting the generic dialogue.

Female Love Interest: Oh my God! You're choking him!!

(dramatic pause)

Bad Guy: I KNOW! My arm... is against his throat! I'm doing this... ON PURPOSE!

-----

I almost pissed myself at the delivery.

Korean manwha and japanese anime and manga able to keep quality and quantity.
We just need to put artist back in their place and make them produce more faster.
