You realize that if you get actually good at 3D contests, you don't need to limit yourself to making LC coins, yeah?

You can make the big money and sell your 3D art.

No, that's what I'm saying.
Why participate in a 3D contest for fake currency when you can use that skill to have people simp for you.

Yeah, because they don't really care, there are three kind of people whining at AC Shadows right now, the standard guys that always find a fault with everything before it is even out, so thats normal, then the Japanese that are annoyed that the game in Japan doesn't use a japanese MC, which is fine, though overblown, because there is the japanese Girl right? And the loudest, Racists and misogynists that scream about historical accuracy, but in reality just don't like that the main characters are a black guy and a woman... :D

Right. I'm sure there's nobody taking issue with the obvious political motive behind making the main character a black guy. Pay no attention to the sweet baby behind the curtain. There's also nobody who enjoyed the historical part of the series historical fiction. Who in their right mind would pick up games about hunting down famous figures in historical settings to see those famous figures in historical settings? And of course nobody would ever care about a game series called Assassin's Creed making the single most recognizable person in an entire country the main assassin. Nope, it's totally just racists making up excuses for their racism.

Use this:

Code:
border-radius: 25px;
border: ridge 1px #ffffff;
box-shadow: inset 0px 0px 5px 5px #1cf01c, -6px 0px 20px 8px #1cf01c;
Thanks.

really wanted to learn all about this css style stuff, html edit stuff on this site. I had no idea but great interest about this

Oh, has this thread turned into Ubisoft criticism? Shall we go though all of the game companies and talk about them?
I think Ubisoft criticism might take the rest of our lives so not sure we'll get to the others.

Is there a tutorial on how to use css for postbit style?
It's Cascading Style Sheets, a stylesheet language used to modify the presentation of something written in HTML/XML.
I don't know what works in here, but you should be able to customize layout, colors, fonts... That kind of thing.
A sample code would be this:
CSS:
color: #ff0000;
background-color: #f0f0f0;
border: 2px solid #000000;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 10px;

You might be able to target specific elements (if it indeed follows the HTML structure), like this:
CSS:
.username {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #0066cc;
}

There's also some bullshit like visual effects, would go something like this:
CSS:
color: #333333;
background-color: #f9f9f9;
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
padding: 10px;
box-shadow: 2px 2px 8px #aaaaaa;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 3px #bbbbbb;
transition: background-color 0.3s, box-shadow 0.3s;
:hover {
    background-color: #e0e0e0;
    box-shadow: 4px 4px 10px #888888;
}

Just don't overdo it lol

Edit: Look up hexcode for colors

Because you need to capture them first. Grab them by the penis!
Pull them in and never let them go!
Everytime they quit, they'll see your work in a contest!

I think I read somewhere that the animators did that her lip on purpose, so that she would be, uh, smol'd... How wrong they were. 🤣
What anime is that?
If I remember it? Who do you think made it? (Mime added the text to it after)
Sorry, some of y'all were "before my time". :p

Google Assassins Creed historical inaccuraries.
You'll find they made shit up in every iteration. Caterina Sforza in AC2 was portrayed much older, when she should've been only 17. She's portrayed as benevolent, when historically she was just as ruthless as the Borgia or Medici families.
Why did no one complain about that? Or any of the hundreds of other historical circumstances and misrepresentations?

You can find countless inaccuracies but no one raised a stink about any of them. Strange. ;)

That would never end. EA alone is an endless pit. This thread would be a deep, depressing pit of how triple A gaming is doomed to die an inglorious death.
Fair enough. But it still might be fun to vent about them.
Why focus on AAA game devs we need to focus on those porn devs that are scamming their patreons
True. I've seen at least two games at this point that started as loli games, got loads of finacial support before the dev suddenly replaces all loli with older models to expand out to a 'wider audience' and backstab the people they originally took money from. May just be 2, but that's 2 more than should be a thing.

I think it's only different this time is because the devs themselves says this one is the most "historically accurate" .
And it's not just the Yasuke bit that can be said to be inaccurate; it's use of armor, environmental contradictions, and even plagiarism from their art team.

I have a feeling it's going to be a boring game either way, regardless of any of that.

Have the AC games been any good recently? I gave up on the series so long ago.

I might get a new AC still looking for those inverter types but it is kinda rainy season so I don't really feel like buying one.
Still I will need it if it starts to get hot haha.

The newer ones have that standard rpg-action style of combat and the stories are bland at best.

I liked Odyssey out of all of them, only because it was Ancient Greece though.

Is it? The devs have been making the "historical accuracy" argument every single time, and every single time it's a lie.
Everything you say's been true in every one of the AC games. Historical events that didn't happen, use of clothing and armor that's in the wrong period, etc. etc.

I think we can thoroughly agree that the game will suck, but that's because it's the same AC clone they've done a million times over. And it's done by Ubisoft.
I don't think a black character in japan called Yasuke who is portayed as Samurai instead of being a Retainer is the thing that made or broke the game. :ROFLMAO:

Odyssey and Origins were pretty good, but I think that maps were too big and empty. Going open-world with an assassin game was meh.

Valhalla was way too big, way too empty, and super boring. Haven't bothered with Mirage, yet
