I had a concerning thought when I saw the news: I wonder if somewhere out there lives a poor desperate soul who is grinding or buying the LC coin necessary to get to P4 only to report the content in there to the hosts... could such a thing happen?

I can't take credit for this. Some other poster said that nothing is foolproof. We can be done-in by:
1-As you said, some shmo grinding, getting P4 and reporting us anyways.
2-A alphabet soup agency drops some cash, accesses P4 and acts on it. That cash spent is just a drop in the bucket of their budget.
3-Insert option-c here.

In reality, the mods are trying stuff. Seeing what sticks. But, I can see their frustration. It'd be SO easy for them to say "Fuck it! We're a standard porn site now" and they get 1% of the hassle they do now. They don't. But they might if it never relents... and I couldn't blame them.

Yes... I went to 24 because. Put in 10 posts and never post again. Then, once per day, spend 2 minutes to collect interest and forget about it for 23H 58M.

I remember seeing a post some time ago, maybe yesterday...I've been up for 36 hours now to time is really fuzzy..where a mod popped up and said that hey had manually reviewed 30ish thousand profiles/postbits/avatars..which was roughly 34% of the total. They are busy as fuck and working like maniacs right now so things are going to appear a bit scattered here on the front end. The safest thing to do right now is play it safe. If you not sure assume the answer is no. When thins slow down and the folks behind the scenes have time to breathe and think, we'll start to get a bit more clarity. As much as it sucks, the best options right now are caution and patience. (and hanging out here sharing bad memes and shitposting for likes.)

me pretty hard. Been surrounding myself with close friends while i ponder whether to
continue on as i was. The fun here was zapped right out of me. I think about all the

I don't know how often attacks are on this site, but I feel like I have. The main forum I'm on had issues for a while. Ddos attacks happened near weekly. And I destinctly remember during a summer (I'm confident it was summer of 2019) the site was full on taken down and we had to meet up on discord while staff worked on issues, which I'm pretty sure was when the site moved to it's current server and domain.

Attacks continued to happen, but the site had work done to help prevent ddos attacks and other stuff. No idea if it's untouchable, but as far as I know, and hopefully I'm not jinxing anything, a severe attack hasn't happened for some time.

I don't expect LC to be the exact same, but at least in my experience, the other site went through a lot more, but working in confines of the law and being strict on illegal/potentially illegal content has allowed them to not have to limit anything else no matter the user.

LC is different than that site though, and that's fine.
